Tom Brady Suspended first four games

Quote:It's the NFL's fault the Patriots cheated?   :woot:    Whose fault is it that other teams DIDN'T cheat?

PS How's the weather in Foxboro?

... Yawn... Did he he cheat after dropping 27 points after the fully inflated balls were given after half time. And if you were even competent, you'd see I'm a Texans fan, and have no interest in the Pats...hence the statement.

Eh, 4 games, loss of first round pick... Haven't we been here before in some form or fashion.  What does it ultimately mean?  Cheat some more until you are punished again.

Did he cheat in the divisional playoff game against the Ravens? Where he had to come from behind down by 14, twice, to win? Its quite possible one errant pass sends the Pats home to watch the rest of the playoffs.

The fact that NFL fans like us are even discussing this illustrates the damage that Tom Brady and the Patriots organization have caused the NFL.   The Patriots actions have caused a very unnecessary ambiguity on the 2014 season results.

If it made that kind of difference, then why did the ref allow the first half of the AFC Championship Game to be played with tainted footballs?

Quote:Those soft balls helped Blount rush for almost 150 yards and 3 TDs.

Held Luck to getting 7 points on offense.

Then Colts protest. Then again...they have that charmer Irsay.

I get the Pats test the waters, so to speak, but One million dollars, 1st rd pick, 4 th rd pick and 4 game suspension?

Now Goodell hears the appeal? ( or he can pass it off to a neutral party ). Kraft won't let Goodell off the hook. Bet on appeals and reductions.

Then again. Their fans have a Superbowl team and we start the year with our 1st rd, 3 rd overall pick on IR.

So who cares?

Go check out the ravens game the week before, ringo. There were 2 or 3 fumbles that seemed to bounce pretty favorably for the pats...

I think 4 games is too light...

Well clearly when they found out about it halway through the next game they should have gone back in time and changed the previous one.

Going to lose on independent appeal.  I doubt the CBA has anything like this listed.  I don't like the Patriots at all but due process shouldn't be ignored.  Kinda of awful that a corporate entity wants to confiscate personal information for their case as well.  I wouldn't turn over my text messages to my company.

I hope Brady appeals and gets it reduced to 2 games.  We will face a QB who has not thrown a regulation football in over EIGHT YEARS.  I like our chances.

And I've seen the facade crumble away.  Brady can't quite make his mouth and eyes smile anymore.  It just looks like a creepy leer.

And if it didn't matter then he wouldn't cheat? Why cheat if you don't have to?

And Brady didn't have to turn his over either. They asked, he said no, and here we are.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

After he appeals and gets suspension down to 2 games, his first game back will be against the Jags.

Correct it isn't like they are firing him because he said no.  It just bothers me that they ask.

I heard that they would have allowed his lawyer vett the messages before releasing them. They chose not too.

But they had plenty of texts from the ball boys...

It's pretty obvious there was a conspiracy to deflate. It's also very very likely Brady was part of and the catalyst for the conspiracy.

I think the choice to not hand over his messages was to not incriminate himself.

The dude is a cheater. That's the bottom line.

This.  It's funny that people say they are doing this because it possibly happened.  It's obvious that he was in on it....ball boys aren't going to deflate a ball without being told by someone to do it.
