Ah now we are turds. I can only speak for myself personally, but I have not said anything about past championships. My focus has always been on the here and now (or year before when we beat gators for bragging rights). I haven't heard Nole fans bragging about our 2 titles even when we went through about a decade of average play.

i wasnt beating my chest. im not even that big of a gator fan, but i do root for them. i was just pointing out that this thread is stupid. everybody is voting that UF is the biggest embarrassment when they have been the most successful in recent memory.

Lets not put everyone in the same group.  If you are talking to me then talk about what I'm doing.  I haven't done the above, but I am excited about our team which is the best we have probably had since 2000 and possibly better, but we shall see.  So yeah, after 10-12 years of mediocre play, going through the down years of Bowden and that whole fiasco it isn't too surprising that FSU fans would be excited about their team.  It's kind of how Jaguar fans would be if we played this good.  The fan base would explode.

 

We destroyed Clemson and we beat Miami pretty good as well.  Those are two top 10 teams.  Regardless of who we have played though no one is denying how talented they are and most think we could compete or beat (could) alabama.
