Praying for ya' Dakota. I pm'd you about an alternative clinic my mother had success at. The traditional methods of fighting cancer, radiation and chemo, have been basically the same treatment for 40 years. Fight on Brother.

There are all sorts of new protocols coming online almost daily.  There are several great cancer treatment facilities around the country using alternative methods and traditional protocols to tackle cancer at its core.   I know the Huntsman Clinic and Mayo are both looking at attacking cancer at the DNA level, and both have had significant breakthroughs.  What they've discovered is that every patient is unique, and that every treatment method needs to take that into account.

Paul, I've been following your situation and have been at a loss for words, not something that can often be said of me. You have the right attitude, and I know you'll fight with every fiber of your being. I don't pray often, and I'm not even sure who or what hears our prayers, but I'll be praying for you, as well as your family. You are right, from my experience traumatic events like yours are harder on our loved ones.


Despite our differences, I've never lost respect for you, and my respect has grown as I've seen how you've dealt with troubles that would have broken a lesser man.

I'm hanging in there everyone. Thanks again.

 

I started my radiation and chemo treatments, and they are going about as expected. I imagine that this is going to be the part I hate the most. It pretty much sucks any way you slice it. I am pretty sick all the time. I spend most of my time in bed now. I am always sick and am always tired. It seems that I can't ever get enough sleep, despite sleeping around 15 hours a day now.

 

There's not really much for me to say. Not a lot of new news. I feel lousy, but understand that it's part of the game. The treatment seems worse than the illness most of the time lately.  It's what I have to do though.

Paul,  my thoughts and prayers are with you everyday.   I recently heard a story that was truly a miracle and that gives me hope that a miracle will come your way.   I'm convinced prayer went a long way in making the miracle occur.   I hope your energy and comfortable level increases substantially in the very near future.

I know the treatments are kicking your tail, but that's part of the process.  Keep the faith that all of this misery will have a positive outcome because there's a bit of news that seems to have slipped your mind that should serve as an inspiration for you.
