For the comic book show lovers

OH EM GEE. There's a 3 min trailer out for the show and it looks goooooooooodd. I'm liking the direction DC comics is heading with their stuff so far.

Definitely has potential at a glance (I'm just now looking into this thanks to this post).
I might be in the minority but I have always been a fan of Vandal Savage as an antagonist and am glad to see him getting some of the spotlight. The Flash/Arrow universe's version of the Atom irritates me though, he's basically Iron Man sans Tony Starks arrogance and attitude.

Im cautiously optimistic about it. Love the Rip Hunter casting. I am so wrapped up into Arrow/Flash that I just don't see what the deal is with White Canary... Just another instance of nobody staying dead and therefore having zero stakes what so ever.....
More Atom please... Routh is hilarious in that roll. Vandal Savage is awesome glad he's getting some air time. This certainly looks better than the Supergirl teaser. Trying to stay hopeful that she is just bumbling fumbling for the pilot. That's not the Kara I know. Supposedly the pilot leaked somewhere online have not gone looking for it though, torrenting isn't really my bag.

I'll go one further and say that making a Supergirl TV show is going to be a mistake. I personally think they should have gone with Power Girl (for the obvious reasons) or even better, Donna Troy. Now there's a show that would be amazing to watch! ![]()

Now there's a show that would be amazing to watch!Agreed but at the same time the general populace has no idea who these people are. Supergirl is an obvious draw for many people. The character can be done well I just don't think this is going to be it at least not based on the teaser. I'll take a wait and see and hold out hope they do the character justice and she becomes the awesome Kara quickly. Quote:REALLY? nobody to discuss the awesomeness that is this show?!?!?! i havent really had a chance to dig into Arrow yet. This concept does seem intriguing though. DC just let me down so many times with their movies, i have been sticking to marvel based programming. Just burned through Daredevil and thought it was awesome.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Sorry to post something somewhat off topic, but it relates to the comic reading audience...
I was geeked to hear that Stan Lee's autobiography is going to be in graphic novel form. I mean, there's really no other way to do it properly.

Sounds like the show can be good. I don't know what the big deal is with Canary coming back from the dead. Rip Hunter can easily pick her up with his Time Machine at some point prior to her death...

Just found out (after slacking) that NBC dropped the ball and cancelled Constantine...bitterness ensues.
Supergirl pilot wasn't terrible but not really grabbing either, left me feeling very "meh." I hold out hope for Legends of Tomorrow. Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter alone should make this worthwhile the more I think about it. ![]()
