Sen'Derrick Marks: Mutant

#21

I just hope he comes back as good if not better than when he left. I also hope we dont see him hurt at all during this season(or any future seasons)

Everyone is "ahead of schedule". Lets see what he looks like when he plays.

Quote:who gives a hoot if he shows up to play at all this season... unless he is back to 100% form. Otherwise, he's just another liability out there getting overpaid. We've had too many guys who had one (that's 1, as in 'uno') good season and never did much again after it. Injuries, off field issues... whatever; it's a very old story around here. While I admire Marks as a person (considering his gesture of going to the prom with the young lady with liver cancer) he is, by his own words, just an 'entertainer' and as such only of value if he 'entertains'. A hobbled tackle isn't all that entertaining... a fast, dynamic one is. Ditto for defensive ends.
I think Marks has earned every bit of money he has received so far. And I have no doubt that he will be commited to returning at a high level.

I'm pretty sure the coaching staff, owner, fans, and his teammates give a hoot.  Even if he's back to 90-95%, he's still arguably the best interior defensive lineman on this team, and one of the best in the league.  I don't see that as a liability.  I see a guy who has proven himself.  He's shown a tremendous work ethic.  I don't expect to see a "hobbled" player on the field when he takes the field this year.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

We like to think the Jags are unlucky with injuries, but here is our best player who tore his ACL and may only miss part of the last game of last season.

That's kind of lucky when you think of it.

All in on Bortles progression card.  Bortles improves by half and the team will see the biggest improvement in 10 years.

Huh.....I thought they replaced his ligament with a Kevlar Adamantium woven fiber. It has natural flexability and repairs itself instantly.

Did the predator make the "money sign" in that movie?

I just may have to watch it again to see.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I think alot of these guys who arrive ahead of schedule are taking a healthy dose of steriods to speed recovery - more than a doctor would prescribe you and me because they know these guys are still working out even if they aren't using their legs much (upper body stuff).
