I hope Bortles exceeds my expectations for his second season. I'm going to be disappointed if it's not significant improvement

But how do you measure it?

 

If he doesn't throw for many more TDs than last year, but completely eliminates the pick 6 INTs, is that significant improvement?

 

If he takes fewer sacks and throws fewer picks, but has mediocre numbers, is that significant improvement?

 

Are there bottom line numbers he must meet for you to deem him significantly improved?

The Jagurars didn't spend a high 2nd round pick on a Yeldon only to sit behind the likes of Denard Robinson and Toby Gerhart, he was the starter the moment they made him the 36th overall pick.

Could have easily penciled him in as starter even before he showed out well at OTAs.
