MOJO was taken in the second round too. He didn't start for a number of years. Denard ain't no Freddie But may be able to hold him off for a couple games to start this season.


If Toby is healthy too I think he may be an opening day starter.

 

Now wouldn't that be something if we get a Fred/MJD combination out of Yeldon/Robinson?

A lot of great backs did not have true top end speed. For example, Emmitt Smith.

Personally I think he's going to be fantastic. He has great vision, can catch and is a very good blocker. The frequent criticism about the lack to top end speed really doesn't seem that big of a deal. If you watched him in college his ability to gain 2-3 extra yard on practically every run is invaluable.

I too feel that Yeldon will have tremendous success an a Jaguar. As I watched some of his college highlights, he has superb vision and agility. Remember the Analytics that says he's the best back in the  2015 draft w/respect to vision...

Dude was a beast when he arrived at Bama (behind their NFL OLine).  I think he still has it BUT I'm concerned about the 4.0 YPC but fully realize he was battling a nagging hammy.
