Yup. I like seeing them play very well against top competition in their own soil. Granted, these teams aren't at full strength, but they still have alot of very, very good players out there (Netherlands and Germany).
Dempsey and Altidore weren't there for the US. But, I think the guys that are playing now are doing very well and have great chemistry going. I like Johannsen (sp?) in the game often.
I'm still not sold on Michael Bradley. When playing against top talented teams, he just looks like a boy playing against men (His passes look very slow and tail off weak, it looks like he is much slower than everyone else, loses the ball/possession often, and makes very questionable decisions quite often).
Yes, he does make very good plays at times. His assist on the first goal today was beautiful. But, for every great play he makes, he makes 5-10 bone-headed ones IMO. He had a point blank shot at goal today and really choked on that one.
US is playing very well. But if they're ever going to do any damage in a World Cup against full strength competition,, Bradley has got to get much better.

Same with the U.S. side as well though. Both were B, B+ teams. If I had to pick one from today though, I'd say on paper, the German side had the better team.
Great week between the USMNT going 2-0 against #1 and #6, the USWNT start to the World Cup and the U-20's moving past the round of 16 today where they will take on Serbia in the quarters of the U-20 WC
