I don't think it belongs. If it does get in, money will probably be a factor. Just a hunch.

This would be interesting to see who team USA puts on the field.  Playing the NFL All-Pro roster may be a bit overkill, and silly.

I disagree. Go for the jugular, or don't play, ha!

This would be a disaster.

We would have hold outs just like the NBA guys started doing.

It will never happen. Can you imagine USA playing against MEXICO.

Our 3rd string would be in by the 2nd quarter.

It will never be approved

I cant imagine any NFL player participating.  Too much risk of injury.  I bet almost every NFL contract would put in a clause saying the player couldnt participate in any not team related football.

No other countries play.  Would be terrible.

There are at least 12 countries who play because that's how many countries are in the World Championships.

How could they do this logistically? The Olympics are only two weeks long, right? Could each team play enough to make it to a finals kind of thing?
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

Would have to be only 1 days rest which is bad news on injuries so don't count on the NFL allowing its players to play. But another option is to play teh early games the week before the Olympics which some of the Olympic activities start before the opening ceremony. But lets be honest. There is no shot of Olympic football for at least another 20 years.

Jaguars | Pacers | Purdue | Team USA

There were supposed to be 12, four didn't attend because they couldn't get the funds. And Australia played 4 games over 9 days, winning three. So it's very much doable, especially if you play a few games ahead of the opening ceremony.
