Quote:Not to mention Omar, the most [BAD WORD REMOVED] character in TV history. "You come at the King, you best not miss." Agreed. I can't really say why without spoilers, but the whole story line around Omar Little was one of the best in TV history. Michael K. Williams, the actor who portrayed Omar, also portrayed another of my favorite characters, Chalky White of Boardwalk Empire.

Agreed though, both great characters.

If I had to pick one it would be the X-Files. Also was a big fan of the Wire, Seinfeld, and Arrested Development.
Just had a conversation with a buddy about how you define this. When I was watching the Wire I would have said it was my favorite show of all time. Hadnt seen it in awhile and tried re-watching an episode the other day. It didnt seem to have as much staying power as I would have thought. And I think part of the reason is, while the episode was good, it's part of a continuous storyline that is nothing without the other episodes. And frankly I just dont have the time to invest in watching an entire season's worth of episodes. However every once in awhile, I'll get on to Netflix and re-watch an X-Files episode. Which has two kinds... their one-off stand alone episodes and their on-going "mythology" storyline. Both of which are good ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff. Quote:If I had to pick one it would be the X-Files. I just finished up re-watching all of Dexter last night. The final season actually isn't horrible as a whole. The final episode the second and third time around isn't so bad either. People will still find it lame though.
Now I can focus on more Netflix shows. Wanted to start The X-Files and Salem. I also need to start watching season three of House of Cards. As for current TV, it's all about True Detective for me right now. I usually watch the new episode On Demand the next day. Mr. Robot got great reviews and I've been wanting to watch the pilot. You never know what they are going to say or do, because most of the time they don't know what they are going to say or do.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Anyone plan on catching the Scream TV series? I'm a huge fan of the films and now they've created a TV series. Only thing is that it's on MTV and you know how those shows are...

BLEEDING TEAL IN COLORADO SINCE 95.......GO JAGS
I watched the first two episodes of Mr. Robot and I'm really liking it. Believe it or not, it's like a computer/hacker version of Dexter.
I am still young so I didn't get to see or every try to watch some of the great shows from the 60s-90s. For the most part, we're spoiled these days with shows. I am a huge fan of Game of Thrones. The show got me into the books a few years ago as well. Vikings on History is relatively new but I enjoy the heck out of it and I haven't seen the third season yet. Waiting on HULU to get with it. I like Peaky Blinders on Netflix. That's awesome with just two seasons in. Walking Dead is great. LOST was "okay". Couldn't keep up with The Strain.
All-in-all. Favorite series of all-time? Right now I'll give the advantage to Game of Thrones. It's only supposed to have two more seasons. Martin should have the last two books wrapped up over the next three or four years as well. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie?
