In terms of sheer athletic ability, it's Patrick Peterson.

If i had to pick one I would pick Patrick Peterson. Revis is probably the best choice, but he is a little older than PP.

I feel like Sherman is good, but I would love to see how he does covering the other team best receiver EVERY play. I would also like to see how he does on a team NOT with Earl Thomas.

PS Sherman would not be able to guard Jimmy Smith. He LOVED playing against the press.

I take Sherman. Revis in my opinion has been surpassed by him simply because Sherman has reached the level of Revis was once at.

It's goes beyond Sherman shutting his guy down. Now if a qb throws at him it's most likely going to end up as an int. that's what makes him 1 in my mind.

Revis. Nothing against anyone else, but Revis never played on a D like Seattle has and he plays on both sides of the field.

Awful. He was straight up abused last year. Not even close.

It is, was, and likely will be Revis. The guy plays the best press man coverage in football.

I'm a little concerned that right now the numbers don't really indicate we'll get a definitive conclusion.  This debate could go on forever.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Revis, Sherman spends 90% of his places facing the QB he knows exactly where the ball is going, revis simply outplays any WR in any format with his back to the qb

I still say Revis, but Sherman is a good argument. Vontae Davis and Patrick Peterson meanwhile, are not good arguments.
