Marks says he will be ready come week 1!

Quote:Don't get me wrong, Marks will still be an effective player when he returns this year, but I don't think we should expect him to return to form until next season.

A good comparison is Geno Atkins for the Bengals, tore his knee up late in the season two years ago and wasn't the same player the following season before bouncing back in 2014. Atkins and Marks are similar players; explosive interior DL who blow up plays with their speed and quickness.

I think 2016, with Marks 100% and Fowler coming back, will be the year we see our defense truly break out.

Agree fully. It'll be natural for him to favor the knee as he eases back. Over time that tendency should go away. Next year, him and Fowler could uplift that line to glorious heights.
Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.

Id rather they not rush him back. Let Bennett get extra playing time and rotate with marks occasionally getting a few situational snaps for like the first 4 games.

It doesn't sound like they're rushing him back.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Who's rushing him back?

I just hope he doesn't push himself so hard that he gets injured again.
