That's where Notre Dame and Navy will play their annual game on Nov. 5, 2016, according to a report by News 4 Jacksonville. The two teams will meet on EverBank Field, home of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.
 
The series, which Notre Dame will host this season, was played at FedEx Field in Landover, Md., last season and in Dublin, Ireland, in 2012. The series has been played 88 times since the first meeting in 1927, is hosted by Navy in even years. However, Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium has never hosted the game due to attendance restrictions, forcing it to be played in a professional venue.
 
The Jacksonville Sports Council has a press conference set for Wednesday to formalize the announcement. The programs will sign on to play in Jacksonville for a one-year contract.

It looks like the stadium improvements have paid huge dividends for Jacksonville and surrounding areas.   This game is not only going to get Jacksonville plenty of publicity but it should help the area's economy greatly.   The Notre Dame fan base is enormous and should be well represented in Jacksonville that weekend.

I am sure alot of Notre Dame fans will make the drive from places like Atlanta, Tampa and Orlando to watch the game. Add in the Navy population here locally and it should be a really cool experience.
