Bump. Some theories have stated that Blackmon may be possible to apply for reinstatement 1 year from the anniversary date of his last "episode", which was 7/24/14. If they are right, and he is ready, we could hear about an application in the next couple days. There is the other issue of whether he is ready. But I still am intrigued to see if we learn that he is applying for reinstatement.

I believe he's technically eligible to apply now, but a condition of reinstatement is a minimum one year in full compliance of the league's Substance Abuse Program. This includes arrests and/or convictions for any criminal activity.  The marijuana bust last July 24th essentially reset the time-clock and the plea bargain on November 20th may have done so again.

Then don't forget he will have game suspensions because he was suspended indefinitely(until he passed multiple undisclosed pee test without missing any) he will have to sit out games and it is my recollection he has already served 4 game suspension in 2012 before violating substance abuse policy again and suspended indefinately. Then after that he got pulled over and weed was found in his car.I do not know if the next level of a year suspension would be considered as time served for past 2 years even though he got caught again and violated substance abuse policy. Glad he at least lost weight. That is one step in right direction but somehow I don't think he will ever play again.
