Sales being up is a great thing. It means that all the money Shad Kahn has spent isn't going to waste. Therefore, those rumors of the jags moving become even less likely. Saying it is irrelevant is nonsensical.

Saying it is irrelevant is nonsensical. You dont understand that this argument between me and pirkster goes back like 2 years. It is irrelevant to an argument we had a long time ago.
I predict TE Julius Thomas will catch a touchdown against the Steelers in the opening drive from Bortles.
Everyone is assuming that the base grouping will be a 12 personnel (2 tight ends, 2 Wrs, 1 rb) which I assume one WR will be a slot or maybe even a half-back, but it could very well be a
22 or 23 personnel being two tight ends (Thomas & Lewis) and one WR such as Robinson and two rbs (Yeldon & Gerhart like a FB or Grant in a pro form). We show less advertisements to registered users. I predict the Jags offense goes 3 and out on the first drive. Par for the course.

Quote:I predict the Jags offense goes 3 and out on the first drive. Par for the course. 1st down- run up the middle, 2 yds. 2nd down- pass dropped by Lewis. 3rd down- protection crumbles, pass knocked down at line of scrimmage. 50 yard punt by Anger, 15 yd return.
Make the Jags Great Again
Blake Bortles......YOU'RE FIRED! Dave Caldwell.....YOU'RE FIRED!
Sure looks like Ryan Davis is setting himself up for a big year at the Leo position.

Quote:1st down- run up the middle, 2 yds.Defense: 1st down- Steelers play action pass complete, 12 yds. 1st down- Outside run, 7 yds. 2nd down- Davis pressures qb, throws ball away. 3rd down- run up the middle, 2 yds. Paul Posluszny is injured on the play. 4th down- Punt to Jaguars 15, Corey Grant fumbles the ball recovered by Pittsburgh.

Quote:1st down- run up the middle, 2 yds.Yeah that is spot on! We have seen this exact series time and time again. However, I predict we go play action first play of the game Quote:1st down- run up the middle, 2 yds. What happened in the past: 1st down - 7 yard run out side 2nd down - run stuffed, loss on the play 3rd down - pass dropped by Lewis 4th down - 62 yard punt by Anger returned 25 yards (out punted coverage) What I would love to see: 1st down - 8 yard pass back shoulder out route 2nd down - out side run that nearly breaks a big gain, but gains 1 yard 3rd down - short yardage, 22 personnel against a 9 man front, AR15 or JT80 in single coverage (mismatch) catches an intermediate route for 15 yards and takes it another 10 Oh yeah, more passes on first down, runs on second or to set up the play action & motion on short yardage situations, 3rd down (if it happens) play action/motion or use our 3rd down warriors like AR15/JT80 to break the defense with matchups or Yeldon to get the yardage. Rinse and repeat, keeping the defense on their toes. Play action really works if there is a threat of successful running. Bortles can most definitely be a one read quarterback and if he doesn't see it break the pocket if he needs to and improvise. Keeping a spy or or 9th man in the box will give him open second and third reads which I believe he can translate into big gains. Last but not least, two scoring drives led by Bortles in his first 3 possessions. 10 points would be great, then he can let Henne come in.
@mike_e_kaye: Okay protection, Bortles hits Washington in center of field. #teamsideline https://t.co/VVmjpGHZlP
@mike_e_kaye: Morris fumbles Wiz snap and is nearly picked off by McCray on broken play. Next play, Cyprien picks off Morris. @mike_e_kaye: Jeff Tuel's first interception of camp. Rashaad Reynolds with the interception. #teamsideline https://t.co/wDnNX1SGcH *Thought I'd hear more of Reynolds this year. We show less advertisements to registered users. @mike_e_kaye: Chris Smith with a "sack" on Tuel.
@mike_e_kaye: Tyler Shatley getting some work at fullback. Interesting... @mike_e_kaye: Nick Marshall with a pick off a ball that bounced off Hurns from Henne in 7on7. Good awareness.
@mike_e_kaye: Bortles to wide open Benn. #teamsideline https://t.co/4GCyNyohA9
@mike_e_kaye: A-Rob beats Gratz deep for a massive gain on a ball from Bortles. *Gratz is back haha
@mike_e_kaye: BB5 to Denard Robinson in redzone. https://t.co/9LwWa0K4uK
@mike_e_kaye: Washington just made a fantastic catch in the endzone but fell on his back and was slow to get up, fine though. Henne throw. @mike_e_kaye: A-Rob skies over Colvin for a touchdown on a Bortles throw. |
