Quote:How has there not been an update with Julius Thomas yet?

I don't get why the channel 4 news reporter didn't ask Gus as he was leaving for halftime.

The line, sparkling. They can run block, pass protection solid. Joeckel will come around. Plus he's going to be helped by Lewis a bit. Overall, impressive effort by Team Jags. Keep grinding lads.
Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.

I'm liking the offense. Bortles looks comfortable and the 1 sack was on him for holding it too long. He has to move off the spot if nobody's open. The run game looks much improved, we have some pass catchers, and there's depth at the skill positions. I like the pre-snap shifts and movement. I like Tyson as a lead blocker in short yardage. I like the competition at PR and KR.

Henne looked good too. I hope J Thomas is OK.

The D got exposed against Big Ben, but our starting DL was out. The CBs made some good plays on the ball. I'd like to see the D get some turnovers in the 2nd half.

Jt is questionable meaning that the jags will be precautions with him during the preseason. He most likely has a sprained hand, he'll be good for week 1

It didn't look that bad. I was more worried about him getting cut low in the knees and ankles.

No pain, no gain.

I missed the first three-and-out. Did Julius play and get hurt?

EDIT: I guess so. I just saw this on nfl.com...

The Jaguars are holding their breath after TE Julius Thomas took a big hit and left the team's preseason opener.

Thomas went to the locker room early in Jacksonville's game against the Steelers. The team said on Twitter that Thomas his having his left hand evaluated and that his return is questionable.

Exactly, the game didn't start for us until Bortles went in in the second/third quarter.

No pain, no gain.

Good thing is that Thomas has 5 weeks to heal. Even if it's a broken hand. That's 6 weeks max.
