To be fair it was a 57 yard FG and it was just off slightly. Scobee isn't going to make all of those either.

It was a tough ask for the kid. But, the only way he'll unseat Scobee is if he nails some of those.

Even if he has to wear a cast I don't see him missing the regular season opener with a hand/finger injury. It stinks but should be playable in a few weeks? The silence about arguably our best player is kind of confusing.

In a game late last year Scobee said his range was 56 yards. I don't even think he'd attempt that kick in a game.
