Geno Smith punched in face by teammate breaks jaw

The point is, it was the wrong place to bring it up. And a physical fight the wrong way to try and "settle" it.

New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith broke his jaw yesterday in training camp after getting punched in the face by a teammate. Smith tried to punch him back but his fist was intercepted and returned for a touchdown.

It will likely get worse for Geno. If he is out 10 weeks it must be a pretty bad break. He will likely need to be wired up for awhile. Being wired is supposed to be worse than the break itself.
Quote:Herp derp. It was just a different perspective. A perspective few fans have on camps, "celebrity" attendees, and travel savvy.Well to be fair, and legally correct, Smith assaulted Ik first. He put his finger in his face, poked him supposedly, and taunted/provoked him. Now I am not a violent guy, I find it pointless.. but at a young age I learned and was taught not to point, let alone point in someone's face. I won't go as far to say Geno deserved it, but he kind of asked for it.
They have Bryce Petty, I think he will be the best QB in the draft. Petty>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Geno

I heard that Geno Smith's fellow teammates do not respect him, and felt that the fight was Geno's fault & that he got what he deserved. He lacks the talent on the field, and apparently leadership abilities as well.
The team is probably better off with him on the bench.
