He has never not been a backup for at least a portion of the season... So maybe he is an average player

What is my agenda? I'm being realistic. Dan Skuta is probably not that good of a player.


And IIRC he only played when the real starters were unable to play. Granted, Aldon Smith is pretty good.

Yeah behind Aldon Smith and the other side was Ahmad Brooks... Not like he was sitting behind a scrub. There's a ton of starting caliber 2nd string players sitting behind pro bowlers

If you base your track record solely on what a player acomplishes in his first 4 seasons, then the probability is that you are going to miss out on a lot of good players.
