You hate to see that but it's an unfortunate part of the game.
Without him, the Panthers receiving group is looking pretty bad

That's too bad, he was a fun player to watch last year. A rookie that looked like he'd been in the league for years at points.

Quote:Hate to be THAT guy... But this greatly increased our chances in week 1 I think that is probably most of our first thoughts. And look at who is on their depth chart behind him. Jerrico Cotchery, Ted Ginn, Devin Funchess. Woof. We better double Greg Olsen all game.
I went to Cincinnati and watched the Bengals vs Panthers last season. Benjamin really was something to watch. He was giving the Bengals defense fits. He made a couple outstanding plays, especially for a rookie.
Panthers are in trouble without that guy on offense. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Hate to see a player go down like that, after Fowler we Jags fans can definitely feel their pain. Hopefully it's nothing too serious and he's back by week 2 lol
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:I worry more about the Panthers run game against us than the passing Why? Their offensive line is trash and their starting running back is a guy who has missed time with injury each of the last three years. The only two things I am worried about is Newton and Olsen. Quote:You hate to see that but it's an unfortunate part of the game. I was just thinking, this is a great excuse for Cam not winning games again.

From a personal standpoint, I'm very sorry that he got hurt. From a football standpoint, I couldn't be more happier about our chances now in week 1.
Quote:I was just thinking, this is a great excuse for Cam not winning games again.Well.... excuse or not... the GM in Carolina isn't exactly giving him a lot of weapons at WR or in the backfield. But yeah.. another year where Cam leads them to a mediocre season and gets a pass on being a physically gifted athlete that is really a mediocre QB with a really good arm. |
