In all my years watching football, the only NFl QB I've ever seen panic is Gabbert with the Jaguars. Lol

Stat wise Chad Henne has a 100.2 rating while Blake Bortles is only ranked 52nd with 82.2, and Blake is ranked 16th in total yards.

Of course those are Chad against backups and Blake against starters.  If the receivers not have dropped the passes his rating would be much higher.

yeah very terrible right up. Blake missed on a couple throws but pocket presence was not issue the drops just keep coming though. Arob2,RGreen1,DRob1,Hurns1 and TWashington1. It seemed like we were more focused on run game against Giants and mostly 3wr and 1Te sets instead of 2Te sets.Giants had there drops as well.Very sloppy game from both teams.

They're airing the game right now, and I paid particular attention to those three of the eight third downs where they did not convert. The last one was a good pass but just a drop by ARob, but the first two had Bortles running out of the pocket. Bortles was caught for the sack-fumble on the first one. On the second one he threw on the run to Hurns but the ball wast a tad underthrown and hit the ground as Hurns got there. I assume it's his running out of the pocket that rotoworld is calling panic, although there was significant pressure and I'd argue that he had to. So out of eight third downs, there were two where Bortles was flushed. I'd say the term "panic" was a bit harsh.

As for Bortles missing throws, I counted three. One was a clear case of miscommunication. One was an overthrow to the end zone over ARob's head. And the last was the underthrow to Hurns I just mentioned with him throwing on the run. Last week there might have been one pass that was not a drop, but I'm thinking even that one is arguable. Every other incompletion by Blake has been a drop.

Cpt. Checkdown padding them stats against backups. (And still couldn't get in the EZ VS the Giants)

I mean that is what Chad Henne has been for the Jaguars a QB that looks okay on paper but if you actually watch him play in the games you lose all confidence with him at the helm.

NFL article had him ranked #17th among all the NFL backups in the league, but they mentioned he has almost zero chance of starting unless Bortles is injured.

I mean he got paid so he's the backup, heck i look at like this at least there is no QB controversy in Jacksonville.

I saw this post on saturday but couldnt watch the game.  DVRed it on Monday and finally watched it last night.  At no point during the game did I think he look panicked.  He still doesnt look absolutely precise throwing the ball(not sure he ever will).  And he did double clutch on that throw to Denard in the endzone(if he hadnt I dont think the LB would have had a chance to knock it away).  But aside from that I thought he looked really good.

Tebow looked just as bad the other week. Again.

He turned two David Garrard Curley CirclesTM before he was ultimately sacked for a huge loss.

Not as long as his NFL record, though.  So I guess you could say there's been some improvement.

When you're posting on a board where people say stupid things, saying stupid things in the name of sarcasm doesn't make you look any different to people saying stupid things because they believe them.

Saw that. He was clearly not wanting that type of action in a preseason game. Its like he expected our secondary to let him catch it for warmup purposes.

OBJ: cmon guys lemme grab one its just preseason i need some positive reps and a show case on espn.

Mccray, colvin, etc : what you say something?....man up and say it with your chest. You want this come take it.

OBJ: Why are you so mean to me........im going home and im taking the ball with me....jerks.

That reminds me of Cris Carter against us in his last game.

He begged the Jaguars secondary to let him get a catch.

Pathetic.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
