Week One Games Of Interest

#21

First game is this Saturday!  North Dakota St at Montana...  battle of #1 vs #13 in FCS.  Should be a good appetizer for those who cant wait until next Thursday.

Anyways week 1 should be good.  Games Im interested in.

WKU at Vandy - Pretty lousy year all around last year for new coach Mason.  He looked clueless.  And the Karl Dorrell hire was terrible.  Brought in Ludwig to run the offense from Wisconsin.  If they can find a QB that doesnt turn it over, I think they can surprise.  But then again wouldnt be surprised if they lost to WKU.

ULM at UGA - Georgia has had some tough openers of late but not this one.  Should be a good warmup for whichever QB they choose to go with.

other games...

Wisconsin vs Bama - Arguably the best game of week 1.  Not sure what to expect from either team.  Bama is breaking in a new QB.  Wisconsin needs to replace not only Melvin Gordon but their OC.

Louisville vs Auburn - Everyone is talking big about Auburn's new QB.  And that he is more well rounded than Marshall.  This will be his chance to prove it.

Arizona St at Texas A&M - The talk of the SEC not playing out of conference games is bogus.  Always has been.

Ohio St at VaTech - you know the Buckeyes will want to make up for last years game.  I dont think it matters what QB they go with.  I think Meyer can make any QB look good.  But you never know in college football.  Should be a great atmosphere.

Michigan at Utah - Jim Harbaugh

Texas at Notre Dame - not sure I'm on board with the Notre Dame hype.  But then again Texas has a lot to prove.

Washington at Boise St - Disappointing year last year for the Huskies.  And a tough game to start with.

Virginia at UCLA - Hoos with the big upset last year.  UCLA will want revenge.  Who will the Bruins Qb though

Louisville/Auburn is one I am looking forward to watching. Auburn is being pretty hyped up for a team that did not end the year well and lost alot on offense.

I really didn't think much of that game a month ago but Louisville is also getting a lot of love from the ESPN Conference Preview shows they have been showing.

ACC is not messing around in Week 1.

LOUISVILLE vs Auburn

VA TECH vs Ohio State

PITT vs Youngstown State

UNC vs South Carolina

I don't think he's passing them around though!! He's keeping them all to himself...that's why he keeps missing the countdown!!

North Carolina really blew that game last night. Three red zone INT's and you lose by 4. That one will sting.
