The draft really is a crap shoot. If the GM's knew he would've became what he is now he probably would've went first overall.


I can't even find a draft write up on him that projects him to be an immediate game changer and elite talent.

I changed my view in BOB after seeing the scene with his family. His sons situation is heartbreaking. Cant imagine having to deal with that.


Overall, this season is absolutely terrible. Just terrible. Wouldn't be surprised if this was the last.

Yeah. He is a cool dude. One of my best friends played with him in college and he chills with us when he comes into town sometimes.

And if you read the board leading up to the draft, you'd have found an extremely large number of folks who opposed picking Watt.

 

"He's an LDE."  "Too big."  "Need a rusher." "Won't produce."

There was few folks clamoring for him. I'd like to see a thread bumped from that era, I'm sure it'd be highly entertaining. I can say without a doubt that I was pissed when we took Gabbert.

I'm annoyed that I like O'Brian now. Overall I like the show a lot except for Watts over the top show boating. Makes me cringe how overtly he plays up for the camera.

Watt is borderline unbearable. Not really a fan of O'Brian either though.
