Tom Brady suspension to be upheld

Would love to see Tom Brady get knocked out for five games in the first game of the season.  I normally don't root for injuries, but for Brady I'd make an exception.  It'd be karma.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Guess Sean Payton should have went to a judge to have his suspension (since his involvement in bountygate was never proven) overturned.

Hope the Jags start cheating this year.  If everyone else is doing it, we might as well do it as well.  Of course with our luck, we'd actually get punished.

Evidence was never there.  Only decision that was logical.

Those upset obviously have not read a word of the ruling.  The NFL was clearly in the wrong here.

He's still a cheater.  This ruling is totally [BLEEP].  I'm sorry, there was plenty of evidence to prove that he had AT MINIMUM knowledge of the 2 dudes deflating footballs.

They fired those 2 dudes...

But whatever.  Cheaters gonna cheat.  And in this day and age, if you have enough money and enough pull, you can buy out the system.

Good for you, Brady.  But my mind is already made up.

People saying he should have gotten off because the cheating didn't impact the game are the highest level of dumb. What difference does it make if it impacted the game or not? He was trying to gain an advantage plain and simple. It doesn't matter if his attempt failed or not, cheating is cheating. It's not like if you tried and failed to kill someone you wouldn't go to jail. "But judge, I didn't kill the guy. I only tried to kill him." Judge:"Well, that's ok then. I can't punish you since you were unsuccessful."

I'm probably not gonna read the ruling unless it's posted in this thread.  Not gonna waste any more of my energy on that cheater.

The Judge's ruling can be read at the following link: http://thesportsesquires.com/wp-content/...iation.pdf

He explains his reasoning starting at the bottom of page 20.   The NFL (Roger Goodell)  really bungled this whole thing.

The colts forum thread is here: http://forums.colts.com/topic/40016-brad...nullified/   I especially like the "30 year fan" who has now quit caring about the colts and the NFL.   Bandwagon much??  LOL

Sure, the NFL bungled the investigation.  But they bungled the investigation into bountygate too, and Sean Payton got suspended for a year because "ignorance is not an excuse".

There was no cheating, at least in the game in question. The measured pressures were in spec. One can speculate that there was cheating in previous games, but this game was the only one where ball pressures were ever measured after the pre-game checks.

Big time difference between:

1. intentionally trying to injure players (potentially causing career ending injuries or life-long health problems)

2. Footballs .5psi out of spec (allegedly,,never proven)

Big time difference

Goodell deliberately sabotaging the case to remain buddybuddy with Kraft's Cheatriots. This case has just been an obvious coverup, and I will remain a firm believer that Tom and Belicheat have cheated for years and will continue to cheat with not even a slap on the wrist. Fire Goodell and bar Brady and Belicheat from the Hall of Fame
