UF is now the third best college team in Florida

Quote:I hope he stays, I was asking your opinion.  If he is such a great coach, why are you having a hard time defending him and instead using silly insults about fantasizing over Famous Jameis?  I didn't ask if you would root for the team.  I assume a "fan" who by definition is a fanatic would still root for their team.  I asked if you still think he shouldn't be fired.  As a fan, shouldn't you care what they do?

I gave you my opinion already, but then you decided to quote me again like I would change my mind after losing to a decent team in Vandy.  Hey, this isnt the ACC where you get Duke, Wake, BC, and other turds on a consistent basis.

He should be allowed to turn it around.  I never used the words "great coach" and Muschamp in the same sentence.  I think he is a really good defensive coach though.  At the same time, this is UF, not FSU.  UF doesn't usually stay bad for very long.  They fix it and get back on track.  I would not be surprised, nor would I complain if he was fired.

Quote:Because our QB decided to have his worst game and our defensive coordinator had a [BAD WORD REMOVED] poor gameplan.

Oh ok, the Gators had nothing to do with the outcome of that game?

The 4-4 and now 5-4 Vandy is pretty solid huh?  Yeah, I asked you after since gator fans in general are calling for his firing.  Seemed appropriate to ask if you still feel the same way.

So what is he?  Good, average?  Seems like most gator fans want a great coach.  Are you okay with an average coach?  How many more years should he get?

Gators beat us last year, I won't make any excuses for the loss.  He is 0-3 against Georgia and will most likely be 1-2 against the Noles.

Have you seen the teams Vandy has lost to? I guess since you are accustomed to the ACC, a 4 loss record automatically means the team is garbage. When you play in a real coference, wins are not as easy to come by. Do some research. They are a decent team.

I think he should get another year, but my opinion really doesn't matter.

Lol at Vandy being decent. If they were in the ACC you would say they suck. Gotta love it when SEC fans think their bottom dwellers are good just because they're in the SEC.

I think the better question is, who have they beaten? Losing to good/decent teams doesn't make a team good. So take your own advice and do some research.

Hahahhaha, that is hilarious.

Hey guys, we suck this year, that's whats up. Accept it. I hope FSU gets to the national title and gets totally smashed by 'Bama. Would make my day. And if somehow the Gators could actually beat the stupid Noles that would be unreal, but it aint gonna happen.

I really hope that Muschamp is done after this season. I highly doubt we are going to make a bowl game, and we have been to one since I've been alive. Pretty pathetic for our program. There are no excuses for our team to be in the state that its in now. Driskel is garbage, wouldn't have mattered if he was healthy now or not. It hurt losing Easley, but still, with our QB's we wouldn't be able to do anything.

Ugh. Hopefully our Basketball team can kick some ace this season, 'cause this years football season has been unbelievably horrible.

Quote:I was there today. It was terrible. 3 int's that led to scores. One for a TD, one run back to the 15, another to the 4. Ridiculous.

I think this is the one that does Muschamp in. You don't go what will be probably 5-7, lose to Vandy at Home on Homcoming no less at Florida.

It's time to go I think. Foley needs to go out and hire an established HC at a school where this has been success. Closer to the Urban hire then the asst coach hire in Muschamp.

I've defended muschamp and taken heat for it and i'm a freakin florida state fan, but losing to vandy like that may be it.  My question to you though is, who do you want to get to replace muschamp if you want him gone?

Charlie strong?  Pretty sure he won't come with bridgewater, defense spewing oil against UCF?  Syracuse, uconn, etc.

Sumlin?  Looks like he is headed to USC if not the NFL in a couple years anyway.

I'm just curious.  Poach franklin or pinkel lol?

It's got to be a guy who has done it as a HC first and foremost. Strong comes to mind for sure. I wouldn't be against trying to get Golden either. I'm good with Franklin too. I don't think Pinkel will leave.

Lol, that should tell you all you need to know. Those are their best two wins. One against an injury ridden Georgia team who is now average and another against an injury ridden Florida team who was average (IMO) before injury and are just plain bad now. Are their names supposed to carry weight or something? Have you paid attention to the season let alone your own team? Ironically, when Georgia was actually a top 10 team (pre-injury) they lost to one of those cup cake teams in the ACC which FSU annahiltated. When Florida was average (pre-injury) they lost to that other cup cake team in the ACC which again, FSU blew out.

and they are both still better than every team in the ACC except for FSU and Clemson

UF is/was better than Miami.  they just lost the turnover battle.  the better team did not win that day.  check the stats

do you really believe the ACC is even close to the SEC as far as competition goes?  like seriously?

When did I say that?  You were claiming the 5-4 Vandy team is decent.  I asked who have they beaten.  And you put one average Georgia team and a really bad florida team as your proof.  What I did find ironic is the two teams that you used to back up your stance of Vandy being decent lost to two teams in the turd conference.

So the SEC doesn't have turds?  Like Kentucky, Tenessee, florida, Arkansas, Mississippi State?  BTW, Duke's 7-2 and at least beat a ranked opponent.  I think they are closer this year then they have been, but SEC is a better conference, I won't argue that.

florida is not better then every team in the ACC other then FSU and Clemson.  No matter what excuses you make, Miami beat pre-injury florida.  They were better.
