Did McCray reject the ice cream? Throw it against the wall?

McCray was out vs the Lions and hadn't practiced much, he was probably just in for a tune up.

Is McCray some established veteran or an elite player?

Didn't McCray have a knee contusion? I'm surprised he played so much in week 4 of the preseason

Seemed like his mobility was limited. He definitely wasn't playing his hardest, and they just wanted to give him reps. It doesn't make sense to go from shutting down star WR's, and then randomly being on the bubble.

Seriously. I wish I could get those people to bet money on it.

Is there any verifiable info that makes people think that McCray is on the bubble?  Or is it just speculation because he played Thursday night?

Am I getting wooshed here?

Quote:I'll add some guesses too...

Cut Young and Loston, waive Branch injured adding Marks to PUP. I think that's 53

Add a corner and safety off waivers cutting Marshall and Evans

This is precisely what I would do provided Marks to PUP Is a done deal... I just don't know that it's what Caldwell will do.

McCray is one of the better young CBs in the NFL... I like to compare him to Josh Norman.

It's just because he played. They don't seem to get that the Jaguars CBs were gassed, and McCray was thrown in likely having not practiced or expecting to play.

Agreed, he looked really good last year...  So what's with this crazy-talk about him on the bubble?

I get that. I like McCray, but one good season doesn't exactly mean its impossible for someone to get cut. Just like his preseason game doesn't mean hes on the bubble.

The only source that I know of that's mentioned it were Frangie and Ballou. And that was based on nothing but them wondering.

What I found interesting was Nick Marshall saw hardly no time at corner Thursday night. It looks as if he is not going to be cut so I wonder if they are hiding him. I only saw him out there a few times with the majority of snaps going to Harris, McCray, and Reynolds.

It wouldn't surprise me if he makes the 53 and then is the first cut after things settle down and other teams have solidified their rosters.

It just seemed weird to me that we were low on DBS Thursday night and he hardly played there.

I'm not suggestion we should cut McCray... In fact, I think he's one of our top 2 corners.

But if that is the case, why in the hell would they play him so much and have him cover kicks and punts?

Maybe he is being "punished" for something that wasn't made public.

Either way, seeing someone cover kickoffs and punts in game 4 of preseason with a bunch of scrubs around him doesn't give me confidence that this coaching staff likes him.

If Marshall is NOT to be cut, why would they hide him?

If he remained on the roster, he would be protected from other teams signing him, thus no need to hide him.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Just noticed Prosinski was released by Philly, maybe we could pick him up?

No, I said he wouldn't be cut in the initially. Once other teams solidify their rosters I could see them cutting him to put on the PS.
