If the Jags go 0-16 then that will be about 6 more loses than there were people at that rally...

Love how people bring Tebow into this thread.  Let's face it people, we became one of the worst teams in football history without the help of Tebow.  I'm just happy (for Tebows sake) that we were able to achieve our place in history without him.

Case Closed / End of Story.

Quote:Looking angry or pouting would accomplish what besides make fans who think showing emotions makes a difference feel better?

It's not about satisfying the fan, it's about the players internal emotion about getting embarrassed once again.   There's a reason certain teams go to the playoffs most of the time while others give up after week 2.

As our DB (Ross) stated after he left, last year was like a vacation down here in Jacksonville.   I'm afraid our 5 Star Resort has not been shut down.  I hope Gus can be a disciplinarian over the next few years when he needs to be.

Tebow smiles after losses too. Please start a thread about it.

MJD's attitude has been eroding for a couple of years now along with his skill level. Skill level can be understood, he is aging and dealing with injury, attitude cannot. His demeanor during interviews, his attitude towards local press cannot be seen as anything but non-chalant I don't give a damn. If it were not a contract year for him I doubt he would even take the field. He does not want to be here.

He was not starting and as I recall did not even play.  He knew that Orton's demise would lead to his winning success @ Denver ultimately leading  them to the Playoffs (1 year later) and beating the Steelers by throwing 316 yards.  Heck, what's there not to smile about.

If you had to deal with the Gene Frenettes and Vito Stellinos of the world, you'd probably be too.

He can urinate on Jaxon de ville on teh sideline for all i care
I think MJD always gives a 100% for MJD...it wouldn' t make a difference what team he was on.  That's not necessarily a dig on him although it probably reads like that but he knows better than anyone "it's a business". He entered the league with a chip and will exit with one...I don't think for a second he doesn't have a crater on his shoulder after how his misguided hold out last year panned out. I wonder what "nuggets of wisdom" he's shared with some of the younger players on the team like Blackmon and it concerns me.

He's pandering to the angry, middle aged white man demographic that 1010xl pulls in.
