Jaguars cuts

Quote:IMO with this final roster it is clear Kahn is giving them another year not being concerned about W/L.

Nope.

The club has said they have moved on from building to win now mode.

Time to win ballgames, and continue forward.

For real. Bradley literally said "the team is built" just the other day. This has been a three year rebuild from the get go. This is it. Of course they will continue to develop through the draft and FA going forward but the excuses end now. This is jaguar football. Let's roll!

Why do you get offended whenever someone mentions McCray? Quit acting like hes some well know elite CB who could shut down Jerry Rice. Theres a reason hes not even starting.

The roster looks fine to me and better than last year and even more so than 2 years ago. I'm not sure why people are freaking out...

Jaques McClendon, Austin Pasztor, Cameron Bradfield, Laroy Reynolds, Geno Hayes, Dwayne Gratz and Winston Guy were all early season starters last year.

I'd agree that we are just a wee bit better off this year.

Really happy about Marks getting put on the active roster. That means they expect him to be ready by Week 2 or 3, and possibly the Panthers game if all goes as planned. I doubt he will, but we will see. Way better than showing up Week 6.

Happy for Armbrister, I thought he played really good. George had a great game against the Giants and was making almost every tackle, guess that wasn't enough. I don't know how Sam Young is still on this roster, but okay. I feel more comfortable with Evans because of his experience and he doesn't miss many tackles. I thought Rashaad Reynolds outplayed Marshall as a CB, but I knew they'd keep him for ST.

All in all, I think its time to tank boys! Can't wait for Free Agency and the Draft, go Jags!

Ouch. That puts things in perspective.

Blek! It's all about perspective.

I can see the team doubling their win total this year and competing for the division title NEXT year.  The D needs some help, something another offseason will address.

Bears announced their cuts. Looks like they decided to keep Willie Young.

Then please do the board a favor and don't come back until then.

I'm not sure when the Jags brass expects Sen'Derrick Marks to be able to return to game action.   However,  I do believe that a major part of the decision NOT to put Marks on the Regular Season PUP list is now Marks can practice with the team when he's cleared.  Otherwise,  he couldn't practice with the Jags until at least after Week # 6 of the regular season    Considering Marks is coming off a major injury and hasn't practiced since,   the practice time he receives is a critical component in getting him back to game action.

No freak out for me just being realistic.  The first year of the rebuild had a talent starved draft.  Seems like we are at year 2 of the rebuild not year 3.  So with 2 good drafts we will need another offseason.  But seeing as this is the "Season"..   Go Jaguars!

For those released yesterday 4ish except for fully vested veterans and anyone who has already cleared waivers

George, Pasztor and Morris all claimed.

George to the Bucs, Pasztor to the Browns and Morris takes the Great One's spot with the Eagles.
