JAGUARS VS. PANTHERS PREDICTIONS

Quote:This is actually the first time I've talked about ring measurements and OPOY. You might be thinking about someone else.

Like I said SIMILAR. Meaning every time we tell you a strength of our team you turn it into us saying that we are going to win the Super Bowl. I mean...all that dude said was that those two guys are fast - which they are. And you responded that way. My wife does the same thing.

Quote:Because speed is the only thing that matters for WRs and corners....

Signed- Troy Williamson, Heyward-Bey, Fabian Washington....

Speed is a great equalizer. However both guys are reliable enough to stretch the field. Their biggest accomplishment will likely be opening up the intermediate routed for Olsen and other receivers.

Quote:I haven't expected the Jaguars to actually win a game since 2009. That won't change until they show me they can not get blown out by 30 points in consecutive games to start the season before finally, finally pulling it together at the bye.

It's a trend that needs to stop with Gus.
. My thinking too. I'd love to say Jaguars are gonna win Sunday and I'd love to say Jags are gonna win 7 or more games this season but until they do it I'm gonna be skeptical.

The Jaguars have to win week 1 because we have the dolphins in week 2, followed by patriots in week 3, and the colts in week 4.

Starting 0-4 is going to suck.

Starting 0-4 we lose all hope and back in top 5 in the draft. I hope we are 2-2.

Is that the same Yeldon that had 10 yards on 8 carries in the preseason?

Some things people are realistic about, and some things people are coming out of left field. The delusions of grandeur regarding Yeldon is part of the latter.

At least you seem to be consistent in your realism. I didn't want this to turn into the pissing match that has. I was looking for balanced and insightful conversation, I've gotten from a few. I do appreciate that.

I don't think we're going to come into Jax and steamrolled you guys, but I do feel like we are a few years ahead of you guys. I like Bortles, I like Bradley and think you are on the right track.

We'll see how it all shakes out on Sunday.

The problem is sometimes being years ahead isn't an advantage. Every group of guys has a period where they can be successful before they decline. It might be the case that the panthers just had some really bad luck last year and you're not actually in decline yet, but at best it looks like the team is just maintaining as much as it can and not improving. The Jaguars still need to prove it, but they looked much improved in the areas that matter in the preseason, and they've been so far down that improving isn't as much of a task for them.

Add to everything that the Panthers have been really bad on opening day under your current coaching staff and the panthers have never won a game in Jacksonville and I get the feeling the Jaguars are going to open some eyes come Sunday afternoon.

appreciate your comments.

you guys are a few years ahead on the rebuild schedule.

our schedule is however a little bit different than what yours has turned out to be.

we see 8 wins this year. ( year 2). for us.

with all due respect.

win #1 most predict to be this coming Sunday.

good luck

here's to a hard fought competitive game.

well said.

I agree.

seems like panthers arrow is pointed horizontal

and our arrow is pointed up.

I feel thus game could go a lot of ways.

and in most of those potential outcomes.

I see us winning

yeldon is a threat.

but I would honestly be more concerned with Robinson and grant on their carries.

and Toby on his.

I see yekdon with low number of carries and maybe 30 or so yards.

but Robinson and grant could each have over 50 and Toby gonna get his 3Rd down yards.

watch what happens
