Bring on Carolina. The real season is finally upon us

Teams don't just waive their best DT. Red played LDE, for starters, and they cut him loose because he wasn't playing up to par.

Quote:It's Batman this year! LOL

This is as pathetic as I've seen around here. Some troll and his girlfriend trying to pile on. Outside of a decent QB, one TE, and a LB...your team is as pathetic as ours has been! Come enjoy our sun, enjoy the pools and drink your tears away. It's ok, you can hop on the bandwagon later. LOL

They also have a DE, a second darn good LB, and a really good young CB. Of course their other starting CB is so old that he's not much better than Gratz, but that's a different story.

Which team is expected to win the NFC South; Carolina or the Saints?

To me the Saints are the better team, so how the Jaguars play against the Panthers might be able to predict the win of the other games.

We're gonna win this game I feel it. We'll have a winning record in the regular season for the first time since what 2007? Lets get it.

No pain, no gain.

I have the NFC South as... 1. Saints 2. Falcons 3. Panthers 4. Bucs.

Brandin Cooks is the real deal.

Yeah, Saints lost their bEST weapin on offense, best pass rusher and finished where last year... haven't done much to improve but their definitely the better team. This is their last year, they're about to have to blow it all up and start over.

We've heard that the last two years. Saints have Brees and Cooks, who is still inexperienced, that's it.

Sad part is, Lee is still not practicing. Weren't they saying that his injury wasn't bad that if "it were the regular season he would play"? Oh well, Greene will hopefully contribute.

I look forward to seeing Greene play. I'm surprised they didn't give him a more prodominant receiver role during the preseason.

Same here, looks like we will get to see him in action Sunday at the slot position.

Bortles hopefully will still be on fire.

Jags 27

Panthers 24

So Ted Ginn Jr., Cam Newton, and Kelvin Benjamin are no one? these are good players. We are gonna get torn up.

Benjamin is out for the season, Cam isn't an elite QB, and lol at Ginn. A good player doesn't bounce around more than camp bodies.

The only players on the Panthers offense to fear are Cam Newton and Greg Olsen, and with how bad our DLine is looking, MAYBE Jonathan Stewart

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Quote:Rivera will not rush back Star Lotulelei

Star Lotulelei | CAR

(September 8, 2015 8:13 AM EDT)

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said the team will not rush Star Lotulelei (foot) back from injury.

"It’s a long season," Rivera said. "We can’t be hasty with guys. We’ve got to be smart about it. As we learned last year, it comes down to the last week." Lotulelei did not practice on Monday, and these are the comments of a coach who does not expect his player to play. Lotulelei should be considered doubtful for Week 1.
