Miles White for Jags practice squad?

This young receiver was good enough to make the final 53 at Green Bay this year, only to be cut 48 hrs later when Packers made room for the return of James Jones. Kid has potential. Why not give him a shot?

Being cut after making the Final Roster sounds like an oxymoron.

Is our practice squad lacking for bottom of the roster talent?

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

A PS guy certainly won't make or break us. But the guy looked really good in pre-season for the Packers, and they picked him as a target for Rodgers over some other talented guys. He was cut last minute only because J. Jones, seasoned vet only 1 yr removed from GB's system, unexpectedly fell into their lap.. they needed a vet badly with Nelson out for the season.

White has more experience, and I suspect more potential, than the Jag's last PS pick-up, a Rashad Lawrence off the Bear's PS. Granted, I don't know anything about that guy. But there was a lot of competition in GB, those guys know a thing or two about receivers, and they had him (briefly) slated to be their #3. So that tells me something.

I'm gonna go ahead and say im pretty sure they are happy with what they have at WR in both the 53 man roster and the PS.
