Honest question, not trying start anything and I don't know a lot about Gus, but how much of it was his defensive genius in Seattle and how much was just an obscene amount of talent?

LOL. players will always be players, but with the right coaching you can see a player thrive in the system.

Gus for all his HC flaws is in my opinion a great defensive mind. He is able to scheme around weaknesses and cover a mojoritt of flaws. He tends to get the most out of the talent he has. With that said, he had a lot of great talent to work with in Seattle. Some would say he is using that exact mold to build the D here in Jax.

Well we ranked 3rd in the league in sacks last year with basically a sacks by committee deal. That was certainly an improvement. The secondary on the other hand is a different story. I'm optimistic Bradley will make this defense better this season. What is Carolina's strengths and weaknesses on their defense?

I think it'll be interesting to see if these loudmouth Panther fans will be back here after the game if Jags win. If history serves as an indicator, they won't.

Agree you MAY have made some upgrades, but reallity is, all teams have. Last year is last year and you have to admit you guys were pretty inconsistent. As far as the Tebow remark, it's comes off as ignorant because it smacks in the face the constant quoting and crutching of a nonsense PFF rating. Quit being so dang sensitive nancy. It's a Jags message board that isn't going to align with your Panther homerism.

And that's by passing yards. If you go by quarterback rating Cam checks in at #64. You have to go to page 2 to find him. Most starting QBs feasted on vanilla defenses. Not Cam.
