JDR was horrible at making adjustments...JDR's secondary sucked and his "bend don't break" idealism didn't work either...Bend all the way down the damn field until they score..JDR was always a run first guy...I remember him saying he didn't care how many people they put in the box we would run the ball and 3 and out after 3 and out

 

I'll never forget losing by more than a TD with JDR when he ran 3 straight run plays from a 3 TE set, just because he refused to let the team not run the ball well. I don't remember much more about the context (ie; year, quarter, opponent), but I remember the 3 TE set runs while losing. It was infuriating at the time, yet now, years later, oddly endearing.

 

 

Thank god someone smacked Young around.  He's sucked for 2 years...  He deserved that.

 

I would pay someone an obnoxious amount of money if Gus singles that out as the "positive" he saw on the field today.
