Teddy getting schooled on national TV by a bad 49ers team. Maybe this will silence the [BAD WORD REMOVED] riders.

Looks like Teddy is going to win the "fewest points in a game" contest this week. At least BB5 gets to avoid that dubious distinction this week.

To be fair, Teddy Bridgewater has shown he can actually win games for the Vikings. At this point, as of today, I still consider him better than Bortles until Bortles can stop throwing points to the other team.

No, he's shown he can play game manager. When he's asked to do more than that, like tonight, he disappears.

To be fair teddy has a better roster around him than Blake but lets not let the truth get in the way.

I started watching from about midway through the second quarter. Teddy is an interesting guy to watch. They sure did not ask him to make many throws down the field. Everything I saw was short to intermediate throws in the middle of the field. When given plenty of time to throw he is accurate and decisive.

When he did go down the field it was that ugly overthrow interception. I might have been a miscommunication as well but looked more like an overthrow to me.

I thought the Niners defense looked pretty good but I would have expected more points from a team with Teddy/AP/Norv Turner.

Should they all be cut/traded/fired after the first week?

Whatever you'd like to call it, he isn't being detrimental to his offense and the Vikings did pretty good on offense last year with all things considered, and that's a good first step for any quarterback with less than 16 games under his belt

I'm hoping we can establish a dominant ground game with Yeldon and put Bortles to a similar role, where we don't really have to make him win the game for us every week. I know a lot of people don't want to hear that, but I feel like it's much easier to win a game on the ground than through the air. The days of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers-type QBs is gone, you'll never see passers like that in the NFL ever again.

Oops, I forgot complimenting other players and loosely criticizing our own automatically insinuates an agenda on this board.

The Vikings offense last year wasn't really that much better than the Jaguars' on paper.

You noticed that too huh? I saw it and was like, why does his throwing motion look so weird. But to be fair he was rushed on the ones I saw before I went to bed.

They were better nevertheless and a person like teddy who was already nfl ready before the draft reached expectations within the offense. You don't have to like blake but to not see his upside and flashes like he's hot garbage is you being irrational at best. Sorry that we didn't draft your guy teddy instead because if he was here this team wouldn't be that much far along than it is right now.

You're not making any sense.

When did I say I didn't like Blake Bortles?

I barely even feel compelled to respond to this post because it almost doesn't even seem like it was made for me.

And better coaching and a better OC.

Don't they have a cream for that?

Vikings suck more than we do this week. Sweet.

I don't watch a lot of Bridgewater, but every time that I do I end up asking "that's an NFL arm?!?!"

When he's on, he's on I guess but there are times when it looks like he can't throw it across the street.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
