2013 Eliminator Thread

#1

Well, the only two undefeated teams lost because they picked teams that lost to winless teams. Go figure...

So, we'll do it up again. Feel free to pick along with us, regardless of whether you were previously eliminated.

My previous picks are as follows: Indianapolis, Baltimore, New England, Kansas City, Denver, Seattle, Atlanta, New Orleans, Tenneessee, and Miami.

Crap, this gets harder each week... I'll take San Diego this week.

Previous selections.   Loss in bold.

Indianapolis, Baltimore, Seattle, Denver, St. Louis,   San Francisco,  Green Bay,  New Orleans,  Dallas., and   Tennessee.     9-1

Hopefully,  both of us will rebound this week.

My selection for week # 11 is the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals are one of the most talented teams in the NFL.  It's hard to envision them losing 3 straight.   With a loss in Cleveland earlier this season,  coupled with a 2 game losing streak,  Marvin Lewis should be able to effectively convey the urgency of this game to the Bengals players.

Huge congrats to D6 for winning this year's Message Board Eliminator Thread! He navigated dangerous waters and won with a difficult pick in Week 11!

Congrats to you , my friend!

MinistryMan2007,   I certainly appreciate your thoughts.    Yet,  I believe the way the contest was set up,   the person with the least amount of strikes ( incorrectly selected games ) at the end of the 17 week regular season is the winner of the contest.   I would gladly continue the contest,   with the winner being decided after week # 17.     At this point in time,   I'm ahead in the contest with 1 strike,  compared to your 2 strikes.   But with 6 more weeks of games,  you could still win or tie in the contest.

If you would like to continue the contest,   I'm taking a major risk from my perspective in Week # 12,  taking the Lions as my selection.

Hey, that sounds good to me!  I'm running out of good teams, though...as evidenced from my previous two picks. I guess I'll go with the Carolina Panthers this week...
