Like I've pointed out previously, people want to romanticize just how good Monroe was, and it's usually the same people who were demanding he be cut or traded right up to the point when the team did what they wanted, and they waited all the way until Joeckel was hurt before howling about how bad that trade was.


He was nothing special here, and he's pretty much plateaued in Baltimore.

And the guys ripping the team for trading him very likely haven't seen him play with Baltimore. And would also be the first one's ripping the Jaguars if they had given him that contract.

I think both GM Dave Caldwell & HC Gus Bradley are on the same boat and need a good season this year so it wouldnt shock me to see a trade for an LT (doubt the pass rusher since its not as huge of a need as the LT is right now).
