This Week in the AFC South-Week 1
|
Quote:Kansas City @ Houston - I always have a great feeling about an Andy Reid coached team coming off of a bye or the first game of the season. I just imagine him sitting around doodling up new plays and formations and motions and all that stuff. I'll take the Reid special please. Kansas City All of them words and I still end up at 1 - 3. Gotta get better.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Quote:Bullsheet, Bullseye. Oh my gracious no. There's lots of reasons I don't like the team from Tennessee. Jeff Fisher, Jeff Fisher's face, Steve McNair, Eddie George, Gregg Williams, Keith Bulluck, Keith Bulluck being good, Frank Wychek and the fact that Frank Wychek was built in a garage somewhere, the fact that I don't know the location of the Frank Wychek assembly garage, Chris Johnson, Vince Young and his penchant for tossing gear, Adam Jones, Adam Jones press conferences, I could go on...

There's lots of reasons I don't like the team from Tennessee.Bud Adams of the bad toupee and the fingers from the press box. Ladd Herzegg and the moon at the wedding. The fact they actually moved a football team. The fact they were the Oilers. The fact they changed their names to the tacks. Yes...plenty of reasons to hate Tennessee. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Good reasons to hate the tacks:
-They exist -They moved from Houston, which allowed the tinhorns to come into existence. -They exist -One of four teams with an alliterative name, but they didn't always have one. They obviously copied us, the seahawks, and the bills. -They exist -Music City Miracle that should have never happened. -They Exist
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
All of the QBs (with the exception of the fantastic game by Mariota) played about the same. I mean everyone is flipping out about Blake Bortles but nobody really talked about how bad Andrew Luck played & he has a lot more WR talent available to him!

Luck is already well established as a very good, potentially great signal caller. He's QBd the Colts to the playoffs all of his years in the league. Bortles hasn't. A bad game from Luck isn't nearly as alarming to Colts fans as a bad game from Bortles is to Jaguars fans. 2. Luck went against a much stronger and more talented defense on the road than Bortles did this past weekend. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
How can I put this eloquently.....? Hmmm... Oh i know, Andrew luck and the colts..... LOLOLOL
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
so when are we going to get to predict week 2
snowwolf titans owner in madden. note titans owner means im undeafted againest them.
QB
(after one week the stats) Colts - Andrew Luck - 63.6 Qb Rating - 2 INTs - 53.1% - Texans - Brian Hoyer - 72.7 Qb Rating - 1 INT - 52% - Titans - Marcus Mariota - 158.3 Qb Rating - 0 INT - 81.3% - Jaguars - Blake Bortles - 54.5 Qb Rating - 2 INTs - 55% - Okay so with the exception of the Rookie's All Star performance this week all the QBs in our division played a very similar game. Everyone is flipping out about the Jaguars performance verus Carolina but look at INdy's vs the Bills! Their offense wasnt expected to be great with a qb that most people have never heard of yet they crushed the Colts with Luck getting stats in garbage time. In fact the more I looked into the week's QBs performance the more I realized (one what a fantastic game the rookie Mariota played, I mean wow! and the other being that all the QBs except Mariota played almost exactly equal in talent yet it seems only the Jaguars fans are flipping out)! RB (after one week the stats) Colts - Frank Gore - 8 for 31yrds, avg 3.9, 0 TD, 0 fumbles Texans - Alfred Blue - 9 for 42 yrds, avg 4.7, 0 TD, 0 fumbles Titans - T West - 13 for 41 yards, 3.2 avg, 0 TD, 1 fumble Jaguars - TJ Yeldon - 12 for 51 yards, 4.3 avg, 0 TD, 0 fumble For the most part TJ Yeldon was impressive with his moves and didnt fumble like T West of the Titans and broke the 4 yards per carry mark, along with Alfred Blue whom ran great as well. Quote:KC @ Texans = I usually would pick home team but Andy Reid's Defense will beat Hoyer. I was close being a homer of course I picked the Jaguars (and if the Offense had played the way they did during PreSeason & not turnover the the ball 3 times it wouldve been a win), as far as the TItans QB Mariota I dont think many people expected him to play that great in his first game.
Quote:QB I would just like to add that it's very strange to list QB stats without listing touchdowns. Quote:so when are we going to get to predict week 2The thread is already available. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:QBNot listing the TDs seems to be selling some QBs short here. Quote:RBAlso, why list the backup RB for the Titans? Unless you are trying to pump up Yeldon a bit or something. West had more carries because Bishop was pulled at the end of the 3rd QTR like Mariota, but he isn't the primary back. Bishop Sankey 12 for 74 yards, 6.2 average, 2 TDs (1 rushing, 1 receiving) 1 fumble(recovered by Titans) We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Appreciate the heads up lol. I have pretty thick skin and can take as good as I give.
We learned in the Sunday School who made the sun shine through. I know who made the moonshine too, back where I come from.
