Quote:I think that's the thing people are missing.... Yeah, it's just the start of year 3, but at some point those wins have to come if we are going to see a turn around. We let one get away last week. This game is the most winnable of the next 3, and we desperately need it.

You can't count on the light coming on late in the season and winning 4 or 5 games in a row. Some of those wins have to come early on if you're planning to get to 6 or 7 wins.

Yes, but it is week 2. No one is missing anything except the ones that want everyone fired week 1 of a 16 game season. If we go 0-8 than we will either keep Bradley till years end or we will fire him. Either way it won't matter because we would still suck this year.

My point is the clock is ticking. A loss this week likely spells 0 and 4 to start. Then you're going to have to win 6 or 7 of your last 12. Not impossible, but that's asking a lot.

We all know the clock is ticking. No one is debating that. I just want to see week 2. Is that too much to ask!?!?!?!? And upsets happen. Everyone wants to project what they know. I just want to see it.

We aren't beating the Pats, not a chance. And on the road at indy, probably not gonna happen

Personally I think we're missing talent across the board. We've spent three years trying to draft and bring in players for specific schemes instead of building a scheme out of what we have or had at the time. This entire rebuild has been Backwards the sooner we change course the better. I keep hearing how we want to be a run first team yet we've spent every offseason trying to upgrade the passing game?

We signed two FA offensive lineman, drafted a Guard and a RB just this last offseason.

Yes, I know. This is what everyone keeps repeating. But for me (and I may be the only one) I prefer to watch the game. Jags have been told in the past things were impossible and we had no chance. If we have no chance than you probably should not watch the game. I'll watch and judge them based on what they do, not what I think or someone else thinks they'll do.

For as sure as they all are about us sucking and losing is as angry as they'll be if it happens. Weird psychology.

Winning in Foxboro is extraordinarily difficult for really good teams. We aren't remotely close to being on that level.

Are you trying to convince me or yourself? I'll still watch the game.

Maybe a quarter and a half but by that time it will be 42-0. Then you will switch to an actual football game, or bowling.

Competed and got better. But then again, that is indeed what football is all about.

We've also brought in a FA RB in each of the past two offseasons.

And we drafted 5 WR took our rookie QB at the top of the draft and made our biggest free agent purchase the premiere pass catching TE in the league last year.

We should be building around the passing game IMO, but it keeps stalling despite all our attempts it's frustrating.

This exactly the approach we've been taking. No body is forcing you to feel any way. But when I watch the game I'm not seeing improvement. 3 years with scheme, free agents, drafts and practice and we get 9 friggin points. Dude come on.

Cheers mate. My stance too, which is why I get a tad bothered with 'experts' that prewrite losses for our team, going by perceived roster strength of the opponent, records etc. One never knows. That's why they play the game.

It's a twisted cycle indeed. You predict a loss then get mad you lost. #MindBoggling
