PFF Jags/tacks Re-Focused

Quote:<p style="font-size:12px;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">One of the few impressive performers on offense was Marcedes Lewis who graded out with an impressive +3.6 for his day’s work. A lot of that was solid run blocking on the edge, and almost all of the passing grade came from his ridiculous rumbling 27-yard catch and run that involved defenders bouncing off him as he ran up the left sideline. This one play summed up Lewis’ ability with the ball in his hands as he spun away from the first man, cut inside the second, bounced off a linebacker, and then delivered a nasty ‘sit down!’ stiff-arm to CB Alterraun Verner before finally being dragged down from behind by the man he originally beat on the play, Bernard Pollard. It’s a shame the Jaguars aren’t in a position where they can make better use of Lewis given their QB position, but this was a teasing glimpse for the fanbase. It's a shame Lewis may not be around to play in Jacksonville with a real QB and an O-Line that doesn't require his help so often. He'll always be good for a drop or two - but he obviously can be productive when given the opportunity. He seems to be blocking instead of running a route 70% of the time he's on the field currently. Gratz and Hayes certainly earned their positive grades. Hopefully that's the start of a trend. There's plenty of bad grades to go around as well. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/20...s-week-10/ We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
"Under pressure, Chad Henne’s passer rating was just 25.6"
"The Titans surrendered just six hurries on offense with only two players accounting for all of them." (the jaguars defense only did anything at all 6 times) It's great that Marcedes had a great game for him, but he's still not worth nearly the amount of money he's being paid. Quote: Yes. He is grossly overpaid. Smith left Caldwell in a crap situation with both Lewis and Posluszny's contracts.
It's a shame Marcedes couldn't have shown that off prior to the trade deadline.

Like I said, Lewis has been bad ever since he got that new contract, but he can earn himself one more year with this team by finishing strong.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
