Week 4 Games Of Interest

#1

Saturday, September 26th

12:00 - #22 BYU at Michigan

-Looking to see if Harbaugh continues to mold Michigan into the team that he wants.

3:30 - Tennessee at Florida

-Another big one for McElwain and the young Gators. Give Grier some time and he can make things happen with his arm.

7:00 - #14 Texas A&M at Arkansas

- Arkansas is on the ropes and about ready to be counted out. A&M comes in with a big punch. The SEC West still has some playing out to do between Ole Miss, LSU, Bama and A&M.

8:00 - #9 UCLA at #16 Arizona

 - Big Pac 12 Prime time game! Big Pac 12 south match up here. I still say Arizona gets in the playoff.

8:30 - #18 Utah at #13 Oregon

What'd I miss? What would you add?

Arkansas lost good defensive play makers to the draft that is proving to be costly.

I think it's the fact that everyone touts the SEC West as being great from top to bottom.  Heck, let's throw in Auburn to the trash pile.  That QB is horrible

Ok, those are two teams that have failed to meet expecations.  Again, not unprecedented.

And although those two teams have played poorly, teams like Ole Miss and LSU have taken a step forward.  The SEC is top to bottom still the best conference in the nation.  If you think otherwise then you must be biased.

So if someone doesn't agree with your point of view then they are biased? Isn't making that claim kind of the definition of bias?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

That is my opinion.  And it's not MY point of view necessarily.  It's the point of view of most unbiased sports analysts.  If you would like to argue another conference is stronger at his point, I would like to see you try.

Auburn is ranked 25 in the coaches poll. What in the world?

Their QB, Johnson, is the one of the worst ones I can remember at a major program in a long time. Hell, Driskell was never that bad.

Well, okay. The Pac-12 has seven teams in the Top 25. Could that be an argument for them?

The PAC-12 also has two teams ranked in the top ten as far as Rushing Yards per game. Can that count?

I mean, I guess I could go on but isn't the above at least making an argument?

That isn't an actual poll, although Cal is a decent team and should be considered top 25.  They have 6 teams in top 25 in AP Poll.

So no, the Pac-12 is not better from top to bottom.  Even if they are, it's really close.  So you can be annoyed that the SEC gets the most recognition among media as being the best (understandable being an ACC fan), but that doesn't make it any less true.

First off, what makes you think that I'm upset that the SEC is getting the "most recognition"? Secondly, are you implying that I'm an ACC fan? If you are, that's not true. Like, at all.

You chose to insert yourself into a quote I had with Bigjohn (an ACC fan) so yes I'm assuming you are an ACC fan.  like, ok?

Well, you know what is stated about what happens when you assume something. I guess I was just trying to point out a coincidental statement.

Actually it's just a fact, but yes continue to tell me how the Pac-12 is better based on rushing yards.  Very convincing.

Hold on, I thought an argument couldn't even be made?

gator fans talk up the SEC because it makes them feel better about their losses.  And they have lost a lot.  This year will be no different.

Your argument is the sec is better, based on the opinions of sports writers and coaches?
