Your "Power 5" Conferences Ranked

Quote:Even though I know you're joking, the SEC east is one of the worst divisions in college football.

I guess that's why Tennessee took OU to overtime, cause they're so bad.  Florida, Georgia, and Missouri are all quality teams.

West coast bias is alive and well I see.

Stanford got beat physically by Northwestern, then they go and beat USC. To think that these Pac-12 teams are better than the best of the SEC East is just stupid.  The top of the SEC East is just as good as any other division out there.

Quality? They are elite! This is the SEC we are talking about. That whole conference is elite.

He is already calling it! You have enough tears to fill a pool after the last 4 out of 5 years.

considering last year UF nearly won, on the road, against the 2nd best team FSU has had in a decade... yes, the odds are good for UF to edge out FSU at home.

Plus I've watched FSU the past two weeks against below average teams, and they are not impressive in the slightest.  FSU could win, sure... however to think it's somehow IMPOSSIBLE for UF to win this year is dumb.

Let's not pretend that the rivalry isn't in UF's favor 8-7 since the year 2000.  UF running off a streak of 6 consecutive in that span.

Congrats on that moral victory chief. And congrats on that winning streak against and old man who already checked out years before.

And lets be honest, you'll never say anything positive about any FSU team no matter how good they are. Any FSU team could resemble the 95 Nebraska team and you'd still find a way to downplay them.

Nearly won?  We playing horseshoes?

I don't care what uf did since 2000.  It is 2015.  You are turning into a miami fan.  And when did I act like it was impossible for the gators to win?  You have a very good d and that'll keep you in the game.

As far as our offense goes, no we have not been impressive.  What I have been impressed with though is zero turnovers by Golson who was a turnover machine with the irish.  Jimbo does amazing things with QB's, but he hasn't had that long with him.  Just as Jimbo said, he knew it would be shaky early on and the hope was he would get better as the year goes along.  Maybe that happens and maybe it doesn't.  But I wouldn't bet against Jimbo.  His last 3 QB's were 1st round picks.

I don't think FSU gets by Miami or GT this year.  They probably go into Gainesville with 2 or more losses.  Definitely a winnable game for UF.

FSU's toughest stretch:  Miami, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Clemson

UF's toughest stretch: Tennessee, Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, Georgia

Sure it is winnable.  You were the one saying "Remember this when florida beats FSU.  Don't cry."  You didn't say may beat them or can beat them, but when they beat them.  So if anything you aren't saying it is winnable, you are saying it is a lock.

I'm sure we will have a loss or two.  I never thought this was a NC team.  But, I didn't think we would win the title in 2013-2014 season either.  Beauty of football is it often surprises you good and bad.

 Ummm okay.  Was there an argument to be had?  The sky is also blue.  Want to discuss that as well?

We will see.  Notre Dame looks legit.  Those two will face off in two weeks.  But we all know how the SEC homers work.  Clemson beats Notre Dame than Notre Dame is overrated and Clemson still sucks.  What about ohio state?  They were a lock for the playoffs and were already being compared to 2001 miami team.  I think one could make a pretty good argument that the #1 team in the land that almost lost to NIU might be more overrated than 11th ranked clemson.  I don't know just throwing that out there.
