It really isn't. Most likely it'll be 4 teams from 4 different conferences. You have a better shot making it to the playoffs in the ACC than you do the SEC.

I'm saying it is overplayed.  FSU had a weak schedule last year.  What happened?  Made the playoffs.  So no, it isn't incorrect.  The conference thing is over played and being in a weaker conference makes it easier to get into the playoffs.

Louisville and GT crapped the bed this year.  scUM and UF are still down, not playing notre dame and a weeker out of conference schedule.

 

We are a few weeks into the season.  We will see how things play out.
