We all knew what to expect today, so why are we angry?

Let's see...51 points and 2 garbage time TDs...that's why.

All those things you said are true and I was fully expecting us to get blown out and for the game to be essentially over by half time.

Still... I can't stand watching a team that was promoted as being 'much better' going to New England and getting blown out. It's an embarrassment no matter how hard I try to rationalize the inevitability of it.

I am not disappointed in our D, in all honesty the Pats O is on a mission from God,  it is our Offense I am disappointed in.

At this point in the game, its not about wins.. Its about being competitive..

I don't think anyone was expecting a Jags win.

Just expected more out of our offense. Defensively, I expected a thrashing. The defense hasn't been tackling, rushing the passer, or covering very well.

It's a game where you can see how you stack up against the leagues best and how far away you are from actually competing.  Is it that simple to measure progress?  Probably not.  But that's why fans are upset, looks like more of the same from Gus and company.

Quote:I expected this from the defense. Tom Brady does it to every group. I did not expect this from the offense. Absolutely incompetent, just like against the Panthers. Bortles and crew really disappointed.
Another Idiotic post from you Learn Football little boy. No way in hell they are going to show there Hand with the Colts next week This game does not matter.  They did not play this game with there all. Next week is when this team starts to play for real

I learned to detach my happiness from the win loss record and score of the team that I love.

every week we lose its the end of the world on here.  do you guys every run out of Kleenex? I didn't expect the game to get so out of hand, but Im certainly not shocked we lost to the best team in the nfl.   we need to be more efficient on offense.  on defense the patriots do that to everyone and have for years.  pick your poison with them.

Exactly how I feel. Our Offense was a huge let down.

Looks like we are all 1-2 in the division.  Still anybody's conference.

It wasn't even competitive. We didn't care to win this game and it showed. They're all in on the Colts game and will activate the injured players.

This is how you spot a new Jags fan from an old one. I was optimistic at one point too...

Lose? Lose? That wasn't a loss. It was a destruction. This team didn't belong on the same field.

But the bottom feeders showed they can't keep up with the upper class. TRex vs a mouse.

Still a lonnnng way to go...with players and perhaps coaches.

The problem is how we lost.

We all knew that we would most likely lose.

After being fed crap by the organization for years, we were led to believe that our team would be competitive after this multi-year rebuild.

Well, it doesn't look like we are. You measure yourself against the best teams not the bottom dwellers.
