I'm Over Bortles

(This post was last modified: 09-27-2015, 06:44 PM by Jaguar Warrior.)

End of next season I would say. BTW Tyrod Taylor looks amazing. Either the Bills are really, really good or the Dolphins win doesn't look that big anymore.

Yeah, you drank too much and weren't really paying attention...

I'm still riding with Bortles, but he did have like 3 ints today, he's lucky the defenders had hands of jelly.

Too be fair, Tom Brady also had an int but our defense has jelly hands too.

He also had some plays that could have changed the game.

I get it.  It's easy to be critical of the negative.

But BB5 wasn't the problem this game.  We were moving the ball, again this week when needed.  We're just not executing the way we should.

I'm not sure you can lay so much blame on him for the lack of execution.

What we should worry about is that BB5 loses any confidence that he may have to be a winning QB.  But it's not his lack of skill that is killing us at the moment.

Now don't get me wrong, a couple passes sailed on him, and he threw Brett Favre-esqe ball...  But over all he played as well as you'd expect a young QB to play against a cheating organization that is out for blood.

Say something that is in reference to the game, otherwise you are proving my point.

I'm not ignoring his mistakes.  But you are making it sound like BB5 crapped the bed today.  He didn't.  This game was lost by the D more than the QB...  For you to not see that means you were either too drunk to remember, or you really weren't objective enough to really pay attention.

The guy needs some work but the defence was so bad that he never really had a chance anyway.

Quote:Wait a sec. People wanted to start bortles out of the gate. Now he was thrown to the wolves? Oh man the excuses are never ending. Apologists gonna coddle.
Um no, I was all for 0-16 with Henne. Not my problem you can't read. I'm guessing you were one of the start him immediately crowd. I'd send you on another grocery trip, but I'll have to change the shopping list. Mod didn't like my suggestions week 1.

Exactly, we were completely out-classed.

To lay this game at the feet of BB5 only shows a lack of how NFL football actually works...

I didn't see the flag at first, but my gut told me it was too good to be true.

Dude, any other team, and that PI call that negated our INT in the end-zone would not have been called.  I'm sure of it.

Well if he has a good game, Thundercat will go hide as usual. The video game guy will pop in one time to give quick credit, and so on. Getting too predictable with the " whine" and cheese crowd.

Agreed...  It is pretty sad how quick some of us are to attack after a loss that was expected.

Again, don't get me wrong, if Luck and the clots drop 30 on us and we only score 19 or less in a blow out, I'm gonna go all Harry Carry on everyone.  But I'm willing to wait till next Sunday to decide.

This game was primed for us to get waxed.  I'm not surprised and I'm not gonna get too upset.

The D was pretty bad though, I have to admit that...  Worse than I would have expected...  Our D is usally really stout.  I'm not sure why we went so soft this game...  I hate those cheaters, I really do.

We are not even in the same realm as the Patriots.  Totally outclassed.

Too soon to give up on BB.  He's jacked quite a few this year.  Nice big plays at big times.  We will learn a lot next week.  Any Qb for Jax knows the Colts are the standard to defeat.

I'd love to beat the Colts, but the Patriots are the class of the AFC that all teams are measured against.  Winning the AFC South would be great, but if the division is weak, it's not going to mean as much.
