I am actually happy for the Raider fans and Del Rio. It would be nice to see a new kid get into the playoffs. And its good that Del Rio gets a chance to show his stuff again. That being said, they may sneak in, but they will be one and done for sure.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

The Raiders are more talented

Joeckel, Cyp, Lee, DFJ, and Julius all sitting on the bench. Caldwell needs to step up

if they do make playoffs, they will never ever beat the pats. Unforttanttly pats will go 16-0 this year. We need the NY Giants to make playoffs. they are the only team that is cample of beating an undeafted pats team.

Arizona has the secondary, recievers, and QB to beat the Pats. Only if they can stay healthy

The Raiders are still, like us, a long long way off from making big things happen.  Keep in mind their win yesterday came against the Josh McCown led Browns.

They beat the Josh McCown lead Browns. Let's caution the hype please.

they did this week! Is that the only game you have seen them play the last couple years? With Palmer as their QB they are 16-2 in the last 18 games. That team has gotten better every year Arians has been there. They have beaten more than just the Browns! Last year was the 1st time the Pats have won the Super Bowl in 10 years. Their defense is not as good as it was last year as it showed in the Steelers game. Pats are a great team but far from unbeatable.

There are 3 positions you have to hit on: QB, "DE" (pass rusher), and LT. It's not hard to be a bit underwhelmed by the picks we have made at those positions, especially considering the players that were taken after our picks at those positions. Lane Johnson, Derek Carr, and Khalil Mack would look awfully good right now. How much blame does Caldwell deserve?

But yeah. The Cardinals are good. They were my SB pick for the NFC last year before Palmer got hurt.

IMO, Palmer has always been an underrated QB. Understandably, his stint with the Raiders wasn't very good (that organization was still a complete mess at the time).

He was a really good QB for Cincy. His last couple seasons there were down:

1. He had INT issues

2. He didn't want to be there (was gonna "retire")

3. Had to deal with Drama-Queens Ochocinco and T.O. after their primes.

I believe, if Palmer had still been in Cincy the past couple seasons instead of Dalton, the Bengals would've been an absolute "force" to deal with (playoff runs included).

Nah. Theyre not 16-0 strong this season.
