Del Rio got the Raiders Rolling again

#81

Quote:If we're talking about the same game, I will lay a lot of the blame on Del Rio. That was one of the two home games I've ever missed. It was also the game where Leftwich got a concussion and he was left in the game for more than three quarters, from what I recall. It was obvious, even on TV, that Leftwich just wasn't 'right' after he got his bell rung. He should've been yanked way earlier.

I had forgotten about that! Yeah, ol' Jack really liked pulling the "man's man" thing. I think that's one of the reasons why Stroud detested him.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

This week should be a good barometer to Del Rio and the Raiders. They are facing a bad Chicago team. These were the types of games that his Jaguar teams would slip up in.

Just finished watching Raiders V Browns.

Carr looks like he is a little more consistent than Bortles throwing the ball right now, but the big difference is Carr's guys are just making plays for him. We get 1 maybe 2 of those types of plays a game. And zero in the running game so far.

Also, nothing breaking here, but McCown stinks. He is dragging down the whole Browns offense.

The thing I dont get about McCown is he is 36 years old. How is he still getting chances to start?

Add to that, that Manziel won a game and had some explosive plays and it's seriously questionable.

Amari Cooper's incredible Yac ability has made life a lot easier for Derek Carr, it's obviously early but Dante Fowler better be an elite pass rusher, because Amari Cooper has the looks of an all time great.

He's for sure been the biggest help but even guys like Marcel Reese are turning routine plays into chunk yardage. Have we seen one Jaguar player catch an easy pass and break a tackle for a huge gain yet this season?

No, we haven't see that in years. Derek Carr's YPA in 2014 was 5.46, it's over 8 this year, all because Cooper is averaging almost 9 yards after every catch, it pisses me off because we should've drafted him with the 3rd overall pick. This offense needs a consistent playmaker.

I always thought Cooper would be an all time great. Like a Torry Holt or Marvin Harrison.

I like Fowler and think he will be a really good defender but not on a Cooper level. Dave drafted for need like he always does

One of the main reasons we are in the spot we are in now is because Dave drafts on need

Caldwell wanted Cooper. Bradley was enthralled with Fowler. Caldwell let him have his guy.

It seems that it's still the case.

Funny all those people pre=draft who like White better because Cooper wasn't fast enough. Morons.

Yep. The game was Classic JDR.
