The Giant Fire Gus & Dave Thread (MERGED)

This team should be freaking 3-1 and you find a way to lose 2 close games by scoring 9 and 13 respectively. That's a joke.

Quote:I wouldn't get rid of Caldwell yet but you could tell after his first season that Bradley will never take you to the Super Bowl (much less a winning season). This!! There is enough talent in place to not lose a crap game like this! Maybe not compete with the Pats yet, but this is inexcusable. Quote:Not sure there's a downside to releasing GusThis a thousand times. What's the downside? We lose more games to 40 year old QBs behind terrible OLines all while we commit 10+ penalties? I think if you're gonna fire bradley you almost have to do it after a week like this. Itd be totally understandable.
If you wait and he sneaks in like 4 or 5 wins at the end of the season vs bad teams, you make it a little tougher on yourself
If you dont like the coach, axe him now. Rip the bandaid off. It's just gonna be harder 6 or 7 weeks later

As long as the team is not getting blown out every week, Gus gets the whole season. Right now at the quarter mark, he's probably on pace to get fired at the end of the season.
I'd be shocked if Caldwell is out anytime soon.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:Wheres FBT to defend the Organization?Lol you know already know what he's gonna say. "I've said it before, if Gus can't get it done then he will be replaced. Please find my quote of where I said I believe in Gus and said he was the man" Quote:Not sure there's a downside to releasing GusThe only downside is that it guarantees that your young QB is playing in his 4th different offense in 4 years. That's not reason enough to keep Gus, though. Gus needs to prove he can prepare this team to win on Sundays.
Quote:One thing I have to say about Gus is he never appears to be working the refs like other coaches. We get called for a dozen penalties and Gus is not working the refs. Good coaches are working them all the time. Gus seems to just stand there watching the guys in the huddle as though he's counting to make sure there are not 12 men. Uh... Just FYI... But Gus doesnt' really work... This is a rebuild. He doesn't think anything is really important untill after the rebuilt is build. And Gus still thinks we are rebuilding. No need to work the refs, or work anything, when you're still just practicing. Gus thinks this is all practice... Quote:Lol you know already know what he's gonna say.He walks a mean middle of the road We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:As long as the team is not getting blown out every week, Gus gets the whole season. Right now at the quarter mark, he's probably on pace to get fired at the end of the season. Agree. Caldwell is safe for now. Bradley? Some pretty dramatic improvement has to happen at this point for him to keep his job. It's looking pretty unlikely that's going to happen. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:Lol you know already know what he's gonna say. FBT won't come around untill maybe Tuesday... It takes alot of time to clear the crap out of one's mouth in order to eat more crap that you then must spit out into the MB... I feel bad for him, really. You now he's just as frustrated as the rest of us... But he's gotta swallow the crap all of us reject. He's the Oesher of the Jungle... |
