Why on earth does Baylor "deserve" to be ranked higher than Ohio State?

The only teams who deserve to be ranked higher are FSU and Bama. Bama should probably even be #2 after struggling with LSU and Miss. State.

Got and OSU/BIG 10 hatred?

Crazy to think that Duke is finally ranked in football. I really never thought that I would ever see the day.

Because they are better, I don't think Ohio St. could beat any of the teams in the top 10

Because they pass the eye test for me as being better. I think Baylor's defense would shred Ohio St., and stop OSU's offense enough to win. Look what Ilinois did to them, and they are terrible.

Why doesn'y Baylor deserve to be ranked above Ohio St.?

Even crazier to think they will probably be in the conference title game.

Illinois lost by 25... What did they do to them exactly?

Illinois put 35 on them. 35, by Illinois. The Fighting Illini put 35 points on the board.

Ill. put 42 up on Southern Ill., 45 on Cincy, 39 on Nebraska, 32 on Wisconsin. Heck Indiana put up 52 on them while they scored 35.

Michigan St is the best overall team in the conference.

Do you have Tourette's or something? Had to say it multiple time and in multiple ways? Illinois put up 35 on an injured Ohio State D. No big deal, they still lost by 25. Ohio State has put up 56+ points in three straight games. I'm just sayin.

Exaggerated the point for a reason.

56 plus on bad teams. Come on now. Illinois, Purdue, Penn St. They are awful. Penn St put 45 up on Purdue. That's a stat game for all, and Penn St is terrible.

Yes because as it's been proven time and time again, level of competition isn't a good measure of a QB's NFL potential. If you're grading the quality of TEAMS as a whole, SOS is an extremely important factor. Elementary concept.

How does Bridgewater get brought into this? That's when you know the points you tried to bring up were garbage. Do you disagree that Illinois, Purdue, and Penn St. are awful?

Good try.

His argument was falling apart so he brought in a completely unrelated topic altogether.

It was a transition of argument from other topics with that poster. But my point remains the same, tOSU > Baylor

There isn't a problem with that opinion that Ohio State is better than Baylor. But the Bridgewater comparison was pointless.

Oh and one common opponent, Buffalo.

Ohio St 40

Buffalo 20

Baylor 70

Buffalo 13

Ole Miss has gotten the shaft here. Call me biased but losing three games to the #1, 6, &9 teams in the country when aside from Bama, they shouls have one. Not to mention they beat LSU with half the defense injured. Mizzo @Ole Miss is going to be a good one next week. Worth taking a look
