***Official Colts @ Texans Thursday Night Football Game Thread***

Man Colts fans are being real arrogant in the various sports forums I'm reading. And the worst part is we can't even talk smack to them. Ughhhhh so ready for the division to change hands.

Quote:Apparently Hasselbeck being out of the pocket negated the illegal contact. That doesn't explain the jersey grab as Hilton broke on his route though. I had never heard that before. Even Mike Carey never negated illegal contact that way in all the games I have seen him officiate. Why would Terry McAulay care about whether Matt Hasselbeck was in the pocket or not? Quote:How is BOB not on the hot seat? Kubiak was much better. He is on the hot seat already. Quote:That looked like a 1st down LOL.... You mean the one that was only an inch short? It did not matter because they got a first down anyway. Quote:Watt isn't even being doubled. Uh, yes he was being doubled. That was why he got to Hasselbeck too late and drew a roughing the passer penalty. Quote:Hasselbeck is good. We already knew that.
Apparently Matt Hasselbeck dedicated his game ball to a friend of his who passed away to cancer today. Probably explains the tears after the game.
Matthew Hasselbeck (@Hasselbeck) tweeted at 12:02am - 9 Oct 15: This game ball is in honor of Michelle Bair who lost her battle with cancer today. pic.twitter.com/7PkHLLCFe0 (https://twitter.com/Hasselbeck/status/65...09760?s=17
Quote:Concussion So why was Arian Foster allowed to go back in the game? He only took one play off. Tracy Wolfson never said anything about Foster going through the standard concussion protocol. Quote:Mallett lost is job, temporarily. Don't worry Mallett. Hoyer is inconsistent and he sucks. Brian Hoyer should have started the game. He outplayed Ryan Mallett. Jim Nantz said the last backup quarterback who threw for over 300 yards was Chad Henne. I remember that game. Quote:Crushing penalty. That probably took points off the board. Which penalty are you referring to? Quote:Hey Mallet, you can take your helmet off now. I always wondered why players wear their helmets on the sideline knowing they have to wait a while to get back in the game. That was especially confusing with Mallett because Bill O'Brien benched him. Quote:Hopkins.....like 7-11. Always open. Good one, but #11 is Jalen Strong and he was not open at all on the Hail Mary pass.

Hasselbeck is better than Luck right now.
"A man with no sauce is lost.
<p style="text-align:center;">But that same man can get lost in the sauce."
Quote:Is he crying? There's no crying in football.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:Hasselbeck had a great game Hasslebeck made no mistakes, plus he played against the Texans who made plenty of mistakes/penalties and still only lost by 7 points.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Two close wins for the Colts. I think the reason the Colts win games like these is that they expect to win, whereas the Jags and Texans expect to lose. Winning ( and losing ) consistently has a definite effect on the end result.

Quote:Hasselbeck is better than Luck right now. If he wasn't 40 maybe there would be a QB controvery, but there won't be. How bad must the AFCS be for some 40 yr old back up QB to come in and win 2 straight divisional games? Just sad sad sad.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:Man Colts fans are being real arrogant in the various sports forums I'm reading. And the worst part is we can't even talk smack to them. Ughhhhh so ready for the division to change hands. We will see what they are saying after their next 5 games: Host NE (undefeated) Host NO ( ok, that's a win) @ Car (currently undefeated) Host DEN (currently undefeated) @ ATL (currently undefeated)
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:If he wasn't 40 maybe there would be a QB controvery, but there won't be.Bingo. The AFCS is by far the worst division in football.
Quote: Apparently you missed Hopkins' 11 receptions for 169 yards an a 15.9 yard average. You should try following the flow of the thread some time and not coming in 2 hours later and quoting everybody. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I think a lot of people choose to ignore the fact that the clots have benefited from penalty after penalty after penalty after penalty to keep drives alive, with a good number of those being head scratchers.
Proof that the 2013-2015 AFC South is arguably one of the worst stretches for a division in NFL history.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
Quote:Proof that the 2013-2015 AFC South is arguably one of the worst stretches for a division in NFL history. Wasn't there a time in the past decade when an NFC divisional winner made playoffs with 7 wins? Quote:Wasn't there a time in the past decade when an NFC divisional winner made playoffs with 7 wins? The majority of, and sometimes all of, the NFC West was awful from 2004-2011. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Wow, and here's sure a way to garner some confidence from your team. I feel like there's some kind of weird contest going on between Houston, Miami and San Francisco where they are trying to show everyone the best way to run your entire Organization into the ground.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
Quote:I feel like there's some kind of weird contest going on between Houston, Miami and San Francisco where they are trying to show everyone the best way to run your entire Organization into the ground. But remember when Bill O'Brien pounded the podium and yelled after a loss last year? That's what a coach is sposda do. |
