Marqise Lee out again

Quote:Should've drafted Amari Hard to disagree with the hindsight seeing one is on IR and the other one looks like a stud, but lets wait to see how Fowler pans out. Having said that, I wouldn't have been sad to see us draft a true #1 receiver. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Hard to disagree with the hindsight seeing one is on IR and the other one looks like a stud, but lets wait to see how Fowler pans out.You mean like Allen Robinson, who blows his YPC out of the water, has equal number of touchdowns, more catches over 20 yards, more catches over 40 yards, higher % of first down catches, one fewer fumble, and only 9 less total receiving yards despite 9 fewer catches? That type of receiver? Guess what else, Hurns has more YPC, same amount of TDs, as well and only 25 fewer recieving yards than Cooper despite less catches. I swear, some of you complain for the sake of complaining and ignore facts. WR is not the place to complain, try somewhere else. That type of receiver?Garbage time stats You forget the most important stats, wins and scoring Quote:Garbage time statsGarbage time stats? Umm, 3 of 4 games have come down to the wire. Sorry excuse. And isn't # of TDs, as mentioned, scoring? What are you talking about?
honestly, ARob has one good game
he was non-existent in Game 1, didn't do anything until the 4th in garbage time in game 3, and was decent in game 4. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

That type of receiver? Allen Robinson is a great #2 receiver. We need a guy who can stretch the defense, and he isn't it. Lee can't see the field and Hurns isn't it either. If you watch football these days, watch teams with #1 receivers and you will ask yourself "how is he so wide open?". Well, it isn't a coincidence. WR IS the place to complain. Take off your teal glasses, step back to reality and realize this 1-3 team you are watching just isn't good. Quote:Garbage time stats? Umm, 3 of 4 games have come down to the wire. Sorry excuse.Three of four games shouldn't have been close if we had a #1 wideout Quote:Allen Robinson is a great #2 receiver. We need a guy who can stretch the defense, and he isn't it. Well, it isn't a coincidence. You just said we need a true #1 like Cooper. Now you say we need a guy who can stretch the defense. ARob has 22YPC, Cooper has 14. Hurns gets wide open all the time. Your point is invalid. As far as your teal glasses comment, please. I realize the team is 1-3 and isn't very good, now your flat making stuff up assuming an opinion that i don't have.

Quote:Three of four games shouldn't have been close if we had a #1 wideoutSo WR is the reason we lost, gotcha. Despite the fact we have 2 WRs in the top 16 in receiving yards in the entire NFL, it's their fault. Gotcha. Talk about clueless. Why don't you take a look at TE and rushing stats if you really want to point the finger.

Sometimes you just need to use the old eye test when looking at a receiver. I like Robinson. I like Hurns, but IMO, neither of those guys are true #1's. You can throw any stats out there that help prove your point, but you can't honestly believe we are set at WR, can you? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:He wasn't injured in college Good Lord. Ok, a torn ACL at the Sr. Bowl. Is that not "college"? Quote:Sometimes you just need to use the old eye test when looking at a receiver. I like Robinson. No. Two above average WRs? Yes. We need more depth but I know WR is not the reason we had tight games. Quote:honestly, ARob has one good gameHonestly, he's had two, and so has Cooper. Cooper had two very unproductive games as well. Robinson's stats are markedly better. Go on, keep poopin on your team.

When Julius Thomas comes back (if ever), this will give you a glimpse into what our offense can look like with a good route runner who routinely gets open. Quote:When Julius Thomas comes back (if ever), this will give you a glimpse into what our offense can look like with a good route runner who routinely gets open.Haha, he's a TE, you are attacking about the WR position. If you honestly don't think Hurns is "a good route runner who routinely gets open" then you simply haven't been watching the jags. Keep whining though, i know you love it.
Quote:Robinson had one good game. end of discussion. I can agree with this. Robinson is a possession type receiver who can make tough catches in traffic, but will never stretch the field or be a deep threat. |
